glad to see someone using kgs. they have been using them in am boxing for twenty year!! any one think were in america, every one walking with dinosaurs! ha
so how tall are you? what did you weigh when you was born
They do it in cm and kilo's now... My daughter's 5 now and I had to get them to convert the weight/height into something I could actually understand! lol
Wood measurements the worst for it, Length is measured in Metric and the width/depth is measured in Imperial!!!
luke check youre inbox cheers matt
if youre worried about youre dog scratching itself on brambles you might want to consider another hobby other than running a dog as every time you slip youre dog could possibly be the last, working dogs get cuts and scratches you cant wrap them in cotton wool or leg protectors
I can imagine that pre ban a game whippet on small fields would be deadly as they could turn with the fox much more easily, much more of an achievment to get a whippet that can do fox singlehanded than any other cross
Just to let people know there is footage on you tube of tongs being used on badgers the title of the clip is ferme and its been put on there by equipageduvaldesaone abit of a mouthful think its french maybe someone with a bit more know how could put up a link also if you type in chasse sous terre it shows some earthwork cheers matt
Can go out my door and get a few good runs but when i want to make a night of it i travel 30 mins away to land were im guaranteed not to be disturbed and there is all types of quarry. When i was entering my dog travelled alot to make sure he got the runs on stuff he needed.
If we were talking pre ban and i was running deer i would like my dog not to pull up as soon as the deer hit cover or went through a hedge as think i would have had a lower catch rate ,i think with most quarry you want youre dog to be right on it when its near or in cover like watchman says it will up the catch rate considerably .I wouldnt like to own a dog that pulls up at cover or hedges and i know that there is a risk with this but in the terrier and lurcher game theres a risk everytime you enter or slip a dog atb matt
I tend to set out 10 pm normally if i have nothing on the next day i set the alarm and get up at 3am plenty of stuff out and you can lamp without too many worries about being seen. The best advice is to get out on the land as much as you can then you will get a fair idea atb matt
Does anyone know where i could get a replacement fuse, will i need to send off to one of the fieldsports suppliers?or could i get one down the local electrical shop cheers matt
Im just wondering how long roe meat will stay okay to feed in the fridge,I wrap all the pieces seperately so they are sealed.I was thinking it should be ok for 10 days.Is there a differnce between hanging it for a week or keeping it in the fridge for a week?is there anything i could do to make it last longer without having to freeze it cheers matt
went out at 10pm last nite and it was perfect windy lots of cloud cover, decided to walk some new land managed a couple of runs on some good stuff close but no cigar.stopped for a breather then the cloud cleared carried on but its was bright got 3 rabbits just as the battery was fading .Ill defintley be walking the land again as its perfect one field has a bio fuel crop one side and a wheat field the over with nice grassy headlands perfect ground for certain things.Thats the last nite for me for a while me and the dog have been at pretty much everyday bar oner or two since the start of the yea
