Yes he is looking a bit tannish today. Amazing the change in a week

Main disease id be worried about is Parvo tbh which 2 vets have said the chances of him catching that where the sea water is, is extremely low and no out breaks around here on Parvo map (i look often)...Palm Oil i know there was some washed up 6 mile down the coast not long back but not on this stretch or at least no local reports of any, we stay v close to the edge near the wall and don't venture far as too much exercise will do more harm than good

Thanks Shaark. I got to admit i cant wait to see what he turns out like ?

Just in back yard with them now the old bitch gave a growl at been sniffed and then when he backed off looked at him with her playful face ? Typical female her terms only

A few people said they can see some Tan. I think its down to lighting ? The weirdos pointy ears are the last of my worries his teeth seem sharper than most im actually not joking about that ?

This is him Yknow i love him for better for worse but it dosnt mean i have to like him (joking)

Yes this one has drawn blood before on a young over enthusiastic golden retriever. I might do as i dont want to take no chances. Today hes been kept separate from the pup (just so i could turn my back without worrying) and the bitch has been far more tolerant, instead of running away shes stood her ground and just gave a throaty growl. Maybe his unstable energy is affecting her? Need eyes up my arse

Agreed. Its just so scary to watch when he seems to be going real which he can't be as pup wasn't injured or blood drawn.

Should of said the twitchy one gave him this telling off outside. Pup was straight back up into trying to play with same dog and bounding around so thankfully no harm done. Its just like this dog dosnt know how to "correct" bad behaviour, instead of the classic, avoid, growl, lip curl, snap ...he just goes stiff then gives a real telling off but hes always been a bit weird and yknow what. It all started 3 years ago when he got castrated was aways a good player before that. Im making sure resident dogs have escape spaces from him ie upstairs and pup takes crate time. Shame because hes a topper.

Yeah thats him. Im currently like a zombie! I forgot how hard a pup is. Watching every move he males incase he swallows something he shudnt ect. He went clean from 11.39 last night to 6am. Cant grumble at that. Older bitch will play with him on beach for ages but in the house she dont like him haha but my Black n White Whippet cross (the twitchy one) gave him a telling off (for biting his neck) yesterday and it looked horrid he really went to town on him, pup was screaming for a good 10/20 seconds after. No blood or injuries though so he musnt have made contact. I thought honest to god id lost

He landed Saturday. 8 weeks old on the nose. So far clean in house, bang on basic commands. Sit, leave, down. Crys like a bitch when left though hates his crate, tough love he will be right enough. Other 2 older dogs will play with him outdoors but give a growl indoors if he gets in there faces, but no snapping ect. Happy with him. Onwards and upwards. Not nervy infact a confident outgoing strong pup.

Just a quick Q do you use a regular puppy collar when lead training a lurcher pup or a whippet collar?
-
God that looks amazing.....
-
Awww sad to hear hes just died. Loved him as Greengrass in heartbeat with his little Beddy/whippet Alfred RIP
-
I asked. She dont let em go before 8 weeks.
-
Ah im with ya.
-
Oh right. Yeah i met a few of the older pups the rough coated black and white and the smooth coated blacks. Aye early socialization is vital, did your mate get the pup?
-
Do you mean you went to view my pup specifically? Or another 3/4 bred?
-
Thanks for that. Which pup mine? Or the one you went to view?
