You have just said the problem is product of human nature and yet you believe essentially swapping one form or currency for another will fix it? The nature of humans remains unchanged in both so why would corrumption go away? It would merely make corruption and excessive wealth more difficult. My suggestion to fix all major issues at the moment is to reduce the population and wipe out the stupid. Mate, not having a dig at you but im always wary when people say that. If one is worried about overpopulation then the logical thing to do is top oneself, but the people who say it t

What a wonderful thread Just to add my twopen'orth, i like to think human nature is in fact inherently good, after all how many people do you know who would actualy choose war over peace ? Also, in the western world the birth rate has been steadily falling for the past 20 yrs or so, which would seem to indicate that when people reach a certain standard of living the population levels out or even declines. How about instead of dropping missiles costing a million pounds a pop, we drop a million pound bundles, the recipients would soon be on our side, so no more terrorist threat, and their

A pound is worth . . . . Nothing, nada, zilch, zero, its accepted as a unit of currency because we all believe in its value in exchnge for goods and services but its actualy backed by nothing. If a group of people set up their own community and decided to use acorns as a means of exchange it would be no different.

I agree the ordinary bloke has commitments and there are not many ways out for him....that's just how it is. Not fair but then life's not fair mate, there's no better system than capitalism yet invented.....it gives everyone an equal chance to do something......if you have the will, the brains, the work ethic and a lot of luck then the sky is the limit. To be honest it boils my piss seeing suedo socialists saying blokes taking full advantage of the system and earning a lot of money are immoral.....good luck to them I say, I don't envy the likes of Bill Gates or Fred Goodwin.....they knew the

Fascinating stuff lads, Carpelous, it sounds like you know first hand how the system will try to devour the individual. The thing is, this problem aint going to go away as under the present system the banks and their subsidiary corporations will grow and demand more and more profits. If they can make money out of thin air, then so can anyone, around the country people are setting up credit unions, which might be worth looking into, although i think they can only function as cells in the grander scheme, i dont fully understand their workings yet. I (like most people ?) would rather have

dont see the point when you can get a laky or pat for 200 you may have to keep in mind that a laky is half the dog wish a good jagd is. bollocks how would you know unless you`ve worked both -- horses for courses the jagd is seen as a way forward for some lads --- If that is true, it speaks volumes for the state of the working terrier in Britain.

Some interesting comments, the crux of the matter is that the fractional reserve banking system is endemicly fraudulent and corrupt, economists (who are not taking the establishment payoff) seem to agree that everything that is being done will hasten a collapse, Why would they want to do that ? Why should the masses suffer austerity to pay off the losses of private corporations ? In fact why should private corporations have control of the money supply ? Ultimately radical change is needed to the banking industry, but who will implement it when the banks own governments ? The guys in the

Yes you would need rulers with some integrity. Nigel Farage maybe ?

The Greek people go to the polls today and the result could impact all of us. In this link, Max Keiser helps Hugo Price explain a way for Greece (and all of us, because whats happening there could be coming here soon folks !) to escape the vampire banks. http://rrbi.co/2012/06/hugo-price-and-max-keiser-can-save-greece/

2010 that was, im sure they have the equipment to prove you been watching terestrial these days , id be certain. that is one success story , which has won due to crap prosecuting evidence, how many have been fined since? Sorry, that was the wrong link, that chap won on a technicality. if anyone was to refuse their license it should be for the right reasons, not just to get away with not paying, they should at least take the time to look into what the BBC are up to.

Its probably true of all 'foreign' food, but the Thai food you get here aint a patch on the stuff over there, we just dont have the spices and other ingredients it takes. If you get a chance try 'kaa moo deng moo glop' . Very nice. If you can stand realy hot 'naam peg' or 'som tam lao' not for the faint hearted.

Hi all, I have been using a heath robinson affair to shoot at night for years, but now want to buy something more sophisticated, what would be the best set up these days ? The technology available looks wonderful but what performs best in the field ? Many thanks in advance for any replies.

You seem to be asuming that these people are motivated by good intentions and not profits. Developing and marketing alternative energy sources is a good way to end up dead !
