  8. i was once told that you could tell if a dog was soft mouthed or not buy the colour of his gums. when you check his/her teeth if you look at the gums and they are pink they are soft mouthed if the gums are more black then they are hard mouthed. personally i think its just an old wives tale and have never payed any attention to it.
  9. i go jogging with my dog i do a mixture of both road running and cross country. he is off the lead at all times when doing the cross country and is free to run some quarry if we come across it. i have him on a long rope when on the road so as i can keep some control over him.

  14. For once i agree there,to be fair anyone comming out with a statement saying bull x's are useless have either never seen one work or seen the shittest of the shittest bull x the owner likelys the problem ive a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull airedale grey ctaches rabbits for fun if i give the dog a fair chance she will catch 9-10, i now alot of people that use bull x for lamping some alot heavier than others used for teeth quarry so rabbits itsnt what the excell at saying that i know a lad off here that doesnt run his on rabbits only because he's a power house of a dog one night we were out and seen nothing

  20. is it me or is there only 11 in the pic.
  21. basically i am just wondering if it would be possible for me to get my whippet X to work feather in the day and perhaps do a bit of lamping the odd night or two, i know that dogs are able to tell the difference between day and night work but would a dog be able to just work the feather in the day and the rabbit at night, or would taking it out lamping make him work rabbits aswell as birds in the day. would the dog be able to do it or should he just be used to do the one job that i need him for which is working feather?
