  2. my dingo eared mungrel is 6 on september the 14th mate, he must look well if he only looks 16months old. thanks, i never said that i have just met flint not to sure where you got that from.
  3. 16 months old and hit the jackpot pmsl fence hopper you still havent answered flint08s question, why havent answered it yet are you ashamed of your dog or something? how many rabbits has your greyhound caught this season it must be alot if its caught more than most peoples dogs catch in 3 saeasons. to me it sounds above average, so whats it caught then.
  4. your honest account is enough to steer anyone in their right mind to an effective lurcher so you are taking a uneducated guess. educated in catching rabbits with lurchers and i know a big heavy dog like that wont catch many rabbits and youv just confirmed my doubts by saying 3 rabbits out of 50 or was it yee cant really decide.smells like bull mate tbh you are only slightly educated at catching rabbits if you think that these dogs are unable to catch many rabbits. how long do you go out for when you take your dog out lamping. i would say a couple of hours each time.
  5. are you speaking from experience mate or just taking a uneducated guess. i have wrote an honest acount of the malamute cross based on what i have experinced and not on what i have guessed. your honest account is enough to steer anyone in their right mind to an effective lurcher so you are taking a uneducated guess.

  8. just a couple of questions to the lampers. how many nights of the week do you take your dogs out lamping? how long do you go for?
  9. sounds like yo had a good night, just goe's to show there just as average as most the crap bred out there. well done lads thats the most she,s ever caught, she has plenty of stamina she had about 50 runs,i was saying to trigger i wish we had fence hoppers greyhound we would have probably got a new record pm csd88 he's seen her go a few times, i was being complimentary anyway. 50 runs and 3 rabbits are you having a laugh so thats why they need the extra stamina lol. not even worth my effort talking about my bitch she doe's that her self in the field (and no i'm not prepared to t
  10. yes, did it catch anything? yes mate as i said it wasnt the best of nights but i got to see a few long runs just enough to get a idea of the dogs speed and knoweldge of working the light. all we had was 3 rabbits. atb trigger
  11. considering flint08 is your relative and you used to lamp with them all the time i'm surprised you've only seen the litter run once. and you'd expect the dog to be watching the beam as they've been out since they could walk. the time is obviously showing in the dogs ability as we all know flint08 could make any dog more then average. for a boy whos only been keeping dogs for 3 years you are a fountain of expert knowledge, who apears to know it all i did wonder my self mate,so all the imformation your have gained about bull x and german sherperd x is not yours but storys you have hear

  14. had a walk with flint08 and the malamute X greyhound bitch tonite, i must say she was a bigger dog than i expected my dog is 25"tts she must have been 27"tts, there wasnt a great deal out as it wasnt the best of nights but i got to see 1 or 2 runs. she was certainly no less capable than any other lurcher i have been out with and definatly wasnt lacking in speed or turning ability and paid attention up the beem at all times. The dogs abilities are much better than you would think, overall i was plesantly suprized the dogs are doing well for there age.
  15. they rushes do hold a hare or two as there is some arable land close to where the photos are taken, it is very difficult land for the dogs to run quarry on the fox hunt strugled to catch the foxes there pre ban.
  16. i have had some good days ferreting on the land up until this last winter, between me and the mixi the sports dried up a hell of alot.
  17. couple of pics taken today of my dog and a pup my dogs the black and white one.
  18. heres a couple of pics of my dog alsation/collie X whippet greyhound
  19. each to there own i suppose. i have never brought a dog yet because of its looks, and i certanly dont buy a dog because he/she or the parents have one loads of rosets.
  20. i always like the greyhound to be the dog in first crosses, i think it produces more good pups than using the grey for the mother.
