  1. Personally i dont think it makes any difference, i would neuter if you dont intend breeding , never used ferrets on rats so have no idea
  2. For christs sake it like the bloody dark ages
  3. You wont look a twat if you persevere with this hob, you will however look a twat if you give him up at the first hurdle, just have faith in him & he will serve you well He just needs a few outings under his belt , it must be a bit daunting for even a ferret to find themselves in all them dark places , so just give him a break & he will come round
  4. great to hear you got her back

    slug pellets

I have given up trying to grow anything in the garden apart from shrubs, i have wasted hundreds of pounds on bedding plants over the yrs just to brighten the place up a bit in the spring/summer, no matter what i plant in, the slugs & snails eat them. I planted a selection of herbs & all that survived was a small patch of mint & some cloves, i did have a bit more sucess when i planted the stufff in lengths of plastic underground pipeing, i just stood it up on end & shoved it in the ground to secure it & filled it with compost & planted the herbs & put a bit of

  8. --> QUOTE(john b @ Feb 9 2007, 01:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bet she doesn't use terriers. it will be about how to prevent them from the house in the first place, like housework i doubt very much she will go near a rat let alone kill it or some sort of potion you put round the house to stop them getting inside, or them plug things that interfere with there nerves Then again i could be wrong
  9. I found 2 ferrets in a cat carry box in my porch when i got back from the midland about 7 yrs ago, some twat as dumped them, While out doing a bit of ferreting at a disused moto cross track we came across a poley jill with a collar on , covered in ticks & a bit thin, i had a little wooden box with the pair we took but a horse destroyed it after the hay in the box now i can tollerate most living things but i have a morbid fear of horses & as there was 4 of them i wasnt about to get the box back i managed to scrabble over a fence to another field where i had a panic attack

  17. I agree if you only want them as pets get them together & get them done or if you find a rescue in your area they will probably have a couple of neutered hobs that would suit your needs

    slug pellets

No i have no flowers but i read a post on another forum and this woman said her ferrets eat slugs that get in the run of her ferret court, so i was wondering if a slug had been poisioned if it could kill or make a ferret sick who ate one

    slug pellets

Can anyone tell me if my ferret eats a slug that has been poisioned by slug pellets, can it make my ferret sick or kill it, or does the poision kill the slug quickly
