i am finding a lot of people are a bit warey off us when were out walking with her , even folks with big dogs on leads, i dont put the muzzle on her all the time but i take it with me every walk incase
Then if i go to the shops with her everyones fussing her especially women & teenage lads , she had 2 fusses today
I chose my kids names as they were boys i had feeling they were boys so i didnt pick any girls names , but if i had a daughter she would be called Katherine
kits are doing ok. mum not to chuffed about letting me near them so dont even know how many but i think at least eight. saw one today and its eyes were almost open so wont be long before they are out and about.
Personally i have never had a jill come back into season while still nursing the kits , so i dunno
Thats the point , i need to be in control if she gets over stimulated & for a few mins again today i wasnt , i dont want to learn the hard way , i will do what ever it takes to get it right , i need a teacher , please
24 I WISH
2 litters of 12
1 litter of 5
plus 9 adults
total 38 ferts
38 ferrets is the average off most pet owners i know a couple of people who have over 100 in there care
I have a terrier & the greyhound is fine of the lead as long as i have the other dog with me , but i wouldnt dare to loose the greyhound off when i am on my own , thinking about it she is worse when i walk her alone , i sort off thought 2 dogs racing round is asking for trouble iff i am on my own & have no back up if i need it, i will have to put in extra work with her this week & see how it goes
Thanks everyone
The point you make about them being strong is what i am worried about, i am not very big & do have a game hanging on to her sometimes & it takes all my strength to get her back under my control i always hold the lead short so she cant lunge at anything & thank god for the muzzle , i think i am going to have to do more distraction work with her & as i have now sorted the food snatching i can concentrate on distacting her when she is excited , i will look into the halti , is it the Robert Mugford one you used ?
