    Madge

Well i did the noose thing with her lead & i am finding it much better to control her , she spotted a westie this morning so i just did the lead thingie & she was skitty for a few seconds , so i checked her & she calmed right down very quickly , its just knowing its harder for her to now slip her collar i feel much better walking her when other smaller dogs are around So i will use this method as long as it works for me , its amazing how quick she switches from dozy dog who trips over her own feet to switched on potential killing machine in a split second , god you couldnt kee

I think were getting there slowly Will
  6. This was Madge when we got her This is after nearly 2 months on Its difficult to tell on the pics but she has filled out a bit & i cant see her spine through her coat now , she has settled well & is very good in the house, i am taking her a long walk in a little while & if i get the chance i will take some pics off her having a little run if the place is deserted
  7. I deliberatly kept out off this debate as i think any animal giving of a green discharge needs veterinary attention
  8. Trouble is dave people are all talk , '' yeah i will have a few of you'' then when you come to the point of moving the stock on they forget they said that 2 months earlier , i took 2 litters of 12 yrs ago because off that & i had 5 left a year later as no bugger wanted them as they were albino , very sad really, i got to the point were i wouldnt show people the coloured ones so i could give any albinos a chance off a home
  9. A valid point Will the amount off kits who have been moved from one place to another is high , then they wonder why there behaviour needs some work when they finally find a decent home
  10. what a mature young man you are kill it rather than send it to a rescue centre, thats like killing horrible teenagers rather than putting them in care Why do you keep likening ferrets to people? Sure they are precious, but you talk some crap fair play to you. You obviously know a lot about ferrets, but then you pop up with shite like that. You wont have a reasonable debate without people getting over sensitive regarding ferrets & culling , its life , it happen we choose to sweep it under the carpet , like lots off other things
  11. I would say on average 40 quid a hob
  12. Thank you for clearing that up
  13. thanks for the reply droid and i see you have kept it a friendly debate lol , i dont care what pet owners think as i have breed for working stock , one thing you will notice is that i dont follow the band or because the internet says so. you say 'fuel the prejudices of pet owners' and i would say 'fuel the prejudices of anti's' aswell , i think you dont quite understand that im not the only one who has these views . so what would you say to the lad who has worked dogs all his life and wants to keep a line of dogs to himself , lets say he breeds bullcross's and he lost a dog in the sea
  14. Keep at it then, practice makes perfect bet you say that to all the boys Men only when your done with them What believe it or not i spend my evenings knitting & things , your just smuttty its disgusting
  15. hehe pure class coming from the lad who cleans out his ferrets every fortnight , now go back and read my last post , i wanted breeding from proven working stock and not some rescue centre ( im not saying they wouldnt work but i like traits of what i have here' half the rescues i know have ferrets stuck round tehm for a long time, same as goldfish young skywalker , they make great pike bait lol Well thats if you can find a rescue that will home to a fereter in the first place
  16. glad you said that i didnt want to create a scene I really wanted to ask about that too. Thanks pitindall Well its better coming from a bloke first , we can join in at a later date
  17. Keep at it then, practice makes perfect bet you say that to all the boys Men
  18. Keep at it then, practice makes perfect
  19. especially this time of year
  20. glad you said that i didnt want to create a scene
  21. I take it thats a no to culling then
  22. Culling goes on but people choose to stick there head in the sand rather than meet it head on and discuss it like adults, its life simple as that really
  23. arnt calves killed if there neither any use for milk or for meat & then the hounds get the carcass rather than it go to waste
  24. Last year i recall peoples kits going down & dropping like flies & being found half eaten , so maybe this years a bumper harvest
