I have only ever felt as though i was in any danger once in my life & i just walked the long way home once i realised i was being follwed & called in the shop & the shop keeper came out with me & this bloke had gone, but in reality i was like a blob off jelly so i know deep down i wouldnt stand a chance of fending off a would be attacker i would be to scared Pretty sad really when you have to arm yourself incase

I am down to one the others died & i thought this last one was a gonner as well , i should have made sure the pot was bigger & the plant in the middle so they couldnt drop over the sides & get lost I have touched this one today for the first time & its so soft

well theres no way i could fend off a bloke physically , so a quick squirt of mace may just be enough to enable me run away quick , i think you just have to be mindfull where you go i tend to stick to main roads rather than going off up bridal paths alone , so preventing it happening is probably better than having to do something if humanly possible if your ever in that situation

These sickness bugs dont usually last for more than a day so i am sure you will be ok by sat , just drink plenty of water so your not dehydrating

If there all happy & content then no is the whole lot being eaten clean to the bone ? yep they eat all the meat to the bone well they wouldnt eat it if they didnt want or need to , if there happy well ballanced kits then you have nothing to worry about they will be fine

exellent point & the other daughter Josie is doing brilliantly she was on telly a few weeks ago & is pretty amazing I dont give a toss what the law sayes my dog wouldnt protect me if i were attacked out alone or even followed with the intention to just be robbed rather than a sexually motivated attack , so mace or something else to hopefully blind the wanker , then a swift kick in the bollocks to bring the tosser to his knees . sorted

I have some drainage pipe going from the hutch to the run & just gently sloped it by wedging some wood under certain parts off it & mine run up & down that to get to the lower level

what i was told by my dads mate was to spit on ur finger and let them lick it off that worked for me i allso use to teas them on perpous so that they will try and bite you and then flick there nose with your finger keep doin that for a wile and they will stop.pm mate hope you have some luck Whats the point in teasing them to encourage them to bite ? isnt that defeating the object of general handling ? not sure how that method works

Cheers kay I feel she has done her bit now they are 7weeks on frid Yep if you risk running her down so she has nothing for herself then do it now , i boarded a jill & 12 kits here some yrs ago & the jill was still in with the kits , 3 days into there stay the jill was spending a lot off time out the sleeping area & i placed her in a small run for a couple off hours with a bedding box & she started to wander round the run walking into the sides, i took her to the vets who said it was milk fever & gave her an injection , sadly she didnt make it
