Thanks Martin i was keeping my eye on that big stag he started to walk towards me & i would have backed off if that dog hadnt spookd them & they went over the fence I couldnt believe how lucky i was to see that many in one go & at least 3 males , the females looked a bit podgy as well not sure when they have babys

I was experimenting with this camera & desperate to get a drop of water on its own & clear , so i thought i had to have the settings on for continious picture taking as it was running water But after i fiddled i found you do 1 pic at a time & have the flash on after i took 2000 pics yesterday & friday & not one came out right, just an example of how i am learning , its very time consuming yes at last i can move on to summat else now

No photoshops way to complex for me , i have done a little bit of manipulating in photobucket where you do colour & black & white on the same pic & i found a free programme called photoscape which i have used things like frames ,sharpen & very basic editing but the photoshop stuff i have tried & its way above my head

The camera i am using is a point & shoot jobby a cannon A470 its a tiny little thing & i found it easier to use than the last one i had i cant do anything moving as the shuter speeds slow but for bog standard pics its pretty good & macro & close up stuff its excellent , not bad for less than 50 quid from argos I think there jpeg images

  19. I dont know how i did that i thought i should have got the clear bulb at the front & the out of focus in the background , its helped today with it being bright as well
  20. By the time i had stoped shaking to take the pics from running across fields they were ready for moving on , its the first time i have seen then this close since the rut 07

I was on my way back from pets at home with my dad & said i hadnt seen any red deer for months, then bugger me i spotted half dozon by a fence, so i got my stuff from the car & raced in to get camera battreys etc & went to where i saw them After i climed a few fences & fell in a stream slightly i spotted them He was a worry as i got closer they had been spooked by a dog Not happy with what i got photo wise i followed them as best i could , not easy when your me & in a pair of crocks just what else i saw on this beautif
  22. Depends on the quality , if there cheapo ones they come up tight , but i usually buy a small for myself if there decent quality

    Thanks everyone for the input , i have asked him this after noon what he thinks he will do & he said after the 12 week course , he is going to carry on doing what he is doing there now but on a saturday morning & as the stations a 5 min walk from his nans house he can stay over on friday night
