This is what i would do , vasectomise the easier going of the hobs , castrate the rest & house them all together if you have room , i sucessfully housed ferrets like this for years & if your lucky you may find having the vasectomised hob in all the year with the jills it stops the hormonal squabbling amongst them Not saying it will work but i found it worked

  8. Normal hormonal behaviour, only thing to do is keep an eye on them as i have experienced jills dragging other ferrets to the degree where they prevent them from eating , so just keep an eye on them & remove the culprets if it gets really bad , usually it sorts its self out

    the flour milk etc is the ingreidents that every one is meant to have in their home before undertaking in lent in days gone by ........ and you forgot to buy some.... hmmmmmmm sorry ............ Look i aint no domestic godess , i forgot to buy the batter mix & the jiff lemon & the frying pan & the plates

Its something that will go when there out of season, if you get them jabbed or run them with a vasectomised hob they will very likely have phantom pregnancys where they drag each other round & try to mother the other ferrets they live with so basically if there entire , there hormonal while in season
  12. I am going to go with the fuschia's again but some bigger ones , i dont know what this willowherb stuff looks like & knowing my luck i will get something that i shouldnt have dug up

  14. I have a young jill here who has started to bite me , its very probably hormonal changes as she was very sweet untill recently

  16. Thats the kit in the other pics, she changed colour weekly untill she was fully grown & that one taken with her mom is how she turned out

  20. No you dont have to breed them , just need bringing out of season by one of several methods , breeding only being one of them
  21. Ask them round for a meal & give them bunny caserole , dont see why you should have to explain to folks what you do.
