Thanks for the comments , i think the hover flies are the best photos i have taken to date, i am happy with them & i really am my hardest critic , but i need to be to improve

I will add this to the thread rather than start another one i have been sorting some old craft stuff out & selling it on ebay & brought a couple of bits & peices, i spotted a couple of frocks i liked so put bids on them Today they both ended the first one i was out bid on but was offered second chance within seconds of the auction ending , then the second frock i wanted ended tonight & the same happened , different sellers but the second one i wanted has been relisted at the origonal price & offered to me at the last price i bid on it , is this a common thing

To be honest i have cameras with various zoom lenses & none of them give clear good results at full zoom, its better if you use a tripod

If you put a hutch inside a decent sized run they will play for hours through some pipes & other bits & peices in there

you say bald , do you mean its exposing skin or a soft downy coat , the guardhairs are shedding so it should leave a smooth coated ferret minus the guard hairs untill the next moult

yes ferrets moult is her bedding area full of shed hairs ?

Looks great , the only thing i would do differently is to put some battoning round the bottom & staple the mesh on to it

I have never been able to get a moth to sit still long enough before to get a half decent photo , so i think your right about him being a bit buggered he was in no hurry to move lets put it that way

It aint a chili its the flowers of that huge spikey grass plant thing i have been wanting digging out for the last 3 yrs , the wasps have been all over it i was beginning to think i had a nest somewhere , not sure if theres one in the shed or not, its not been opened for over a week , best have a look in the morning & shout Rolfe
