  2. When my terrier bitch showed aggression over her food dish i simply booted it across the kitchen ( the dish not the pup before you start) i yelled leave it , did it about half dozon times then i was able to take the dish off her while she ate her food with no problems i voted no to scruffing as i havent neede to scruff the dogs here , i just speak in a stern voice to them & they behave sometimes
  3. I received a phone call last week asking this question i pointed the chap in the direction of this forum to ask the question & see if anyone could help, cant vouch for the chap but someone may be interested in helping him with an article i think his credentials could be checked out fairly easily Hi, Kay I have been told that there has been a significant increase in the number of rats cleared from poultry farms by ferrets working in tandem with small terriers, usually Jack Russels. But am not have much luck in tracing any farms for a report that I am putting together for P
  4. i havent had any castrated here under 12 months old , early neutering is linked to health problems later in the ferrets life , also bare in mind the one you vacectomise will still be entire & will probably try to mate the castrate when in season if there caged together so you may have to seperate them
  5. i dont hang about to wait for an explanation if folks piss me off, my distensing my self from them tells them i am pissed off, no need for words , silence speaks volumes

  10. thanks for that apart from the web pictures the main reason is to take close up shots of horses teeth!!!! ive tried with myn but cant get it to focus close up,think my camera has a macro bit or a flower sybol ect. im not vey gened up with them though as you can tell If all you want the camera for is very close up macro stuff then get one of these canon powershot A470 its a little point & shoot & i took these with the super macro setting last week , pluss its small enough to get in the horses mouth rather than a big dslr http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...howtopic=
  11. i think kits need meat daily , you will find a huge difference with the nipping if they fill there bellys with daily meat & just top up the dry food, my 4 kits can clean a rabbit over night I am also a little uncomfortable with this trend of depriving an obligate carnivore daily fresh meat , meats not a treat its a neccesety imho but as you were following what the previous owner stipulated regarding diet , but i would give meat daily

remember as a kid having village carnivals & huge bonfires in Nov , people would be collecting wood for months , sadly health & safety put a stop to it all
