  1. You'd think this one was about to kill you. Like he's the sort you'd suspect kidnaps prostitutes for fun and then dissects them alive in his underground sound proof laboratory. That sort... He's was a laugh at the xmas party.
  2. I read an opinion piece by some former US defence big wig where he says that the US should give three squadrons of A-10s to Ukraine immediately with trainers as military aid. If that happened that column would disperse like rats! Be absolute carnage. Transfer three A-10 aircraft squadrons to Ukraine now WWW.DEFENSENEWS.COM This aircraft and its gun system were designed to counter an armored assault in Europe. They proved...
  3. He's genuinely the most socially bizarre person you have met. It's just perfect!
  4. I think he's stretching the truth a bit saying that experts said that column of armour was harmless. To me it's always been accepted as a bit of an impending threat. I mean, it's not exactly an example of Russian military excellence but equally I don't think many folks thought it wasn't going to become active when they were ready to assault Kyiv.
  5. I met up with some lads I used to work with and they told me just before it all kicked off one of the most bizarre boffin engineers at my old place went to f***ing Moscow to meet some bird off the internet and hasn't been seen since! f**k me dead I pissed myself! I bet the poor c**t has been strong armed into a secret weapons programme! Or shot for being such a socially backward f****r.
  6. I'm finding comparing this invasion with that of Iraq '03 quite interesting. On this point the coalition in '03 used special forces to hit the places they thought had such weapons. Of course vaporising them would've been more convenient way of backing up their WMD narrative wouldn't it....
  7. Their UAVs have been building reputation and orders recently. The Turks have been playing both sides for some time now, a NATO member who is quite cosy with the Russians. So much so they got themselves kicked out of the F-35 programme leaving them with a lovely new aircraft carrier with absolutely no options for jets! As a consequence they seem to have doubled down on drones to make the most of it. I quite respect that.
  8. Looks about right. But my point is that it’s only happened in the last 48 hours. It takes time to hit the pumps. The trading price is futures markets I think, not strictly what refineries are paying for it. And obvious there’s a time lag between buying the crude and selling fuel products.
  9. Brent’s only dropped a little in the past day or so. The price has done nothing but sky rocket for months before then.
  10. On another note, I’ve just paid 1.72 a f***ing litre! First time ever I’ve gone over a ton at the pumps! Where to I sign up to annex the Russian oil fields?
  11. Lol, but how’s that relevant here? The post that provoked that mentioned nothing as to my views on taxation. Simply that the ‘tax the rich’ is absolutely prevalent in this country. Your response actually supports that statement.
  12. How the f**k do you know what BH wants? Lol
  13. I think there's a lot of truth in that. We're a country of "tax the billionaires!" so "sanction the oligarchs" isn't a hard sell! However, lol, there is legitimacy to it in as much as oligarchy is literally a form of government, like monarchy/democracy etc. The Russian oligarchs are part of the power structure governing Russia. Targeting them is equivalent to targeting Russian government. From a tactical point of view, if a group is to take down Putin from within, it'll probably be a member of the oligarchy or a member of the intelligence/military that leads it.
  14. I'll tell ya summat, past couple days I've been working at a f***ing huge power station / gas terminal and I became very aware that this site was almost certainly a target for Putins warheads! For those two days I was quite pro-negotiate / help him invade the Russian province of Ukraine / give the Oligarchs as much money as they want!
  15. They're sneaky fuckers and lure me in! Before l realise it I'm up to my nuts arguing for a point I genuinely couldn't give a f**k about! So I'm trying to keep it to just sharing views, rather than working out how to advise/replace/destroy (delete as applicable) the United Nations
  16. Sanctions have impacts at both ends of trade. They tend to be designed to impact one party more than the other, obviously. But none are harmless to all except the target. Still, it's probably better than setting about killing each other. Ha This really is one of the most globally unstable times we have seen for probably 40 years or more. The effects will be felt from top to bottom.
  17. I don't know how much clearer I can make this. I really don't f***ing care. You lot discuss the bollocks between yourselves. I don't want to get dragged into it.
  18. I understood your point mate. It's a valid point. I just wanted to add some context.
  19. You're assuming the only means of transferring information is mainstream media. The worlds changed. I tbh, I don't care to get into this nonsense.
  20. This is a reply to Wilf too, on the topic of Dresden. Dresden was controversial back even then, it was the reason bomber command was the black sheep of the military for so long afterwards. It was equivalent to a nuclear strike, it was strategic and massive and was unmistakeably intended to literally wipe out a chunk of German civilisation. But, I'd just caveat that with the fact that it was a different time. A time before the modern rules of war. A time when the enemy were the civilians of the other side. Strategic strikes back then were just more acceptable than today. Not that ther
  21. I actually think your arguments of EU/NATO expansion quite reasonable and hard to counter. I really don't think there needs to be anymore justification than that. I still think it's wrong and the West should counter but life's just nuanced like that.
  22. Or just a massive air strike. Either way if the conspiracy had any substance he would've been banging on about it.
  23. Mate, I haven't the energy to chase down why 'the yanks' claimed they weren't there. I just want to know how many Migs a lone Typhoon could have in a oner!
  24. I think you've found a crumb and reckon it's a smoking gun. The conspiracy claimed that Putin invaded Ukraine to strike and destroy 'biolabs' that were developing some sort of weapon right? I'm not at all surprised there are labs in Ukraine that are researching pathogens. As far as I'm aware, that's all that is actually proven? If Putin's objective was to strike Ukrainian labs developing biological weapons then he would've just said so. If he knew they existed then he would've absolutely broadcast it load and far.
