To be honest mate i never thought that it made much difference till now. You can see when hes playing with my older bitch how he is using his gears he must have bout four or five ive noticed and he spins propper tight and fast. Hes sired by crash out of jj and his dam a pure grey sired by bret lee
Went for a walk up the dales yesterday with my 9 and half month old pup, hoping to give him a go om some easy summer rabbits or mixi. Had a couple of runs and from the first go he was blocking the rabbits off, trying to box them away from fences which i was verry suprised at as he doesnt seem clever like a collie cross but when hes chasing it was like he had done it before. Do the coursing dogs that box hares well show signs like this on rabbits at young age? Cheers.
my 21 and half bitch can jump any thing needed. she cant clear the big gates but puts feet on top. she is very dexteris with her jumping as well of late.
just been reading the DEAD WOOD post and its got me thinking, what does a dog have to do to make it a good dog. ive only seen about 10 dogs work properly and mainly lamping, so what most a good daytime dog do i.e catch rate, from what distance etc.
if you've taken a dog into your home fella it's your dog.............end of.
every one is entitled to do what they want with a dog, but if the lurcher and terreir men who breed dogs over the last few hundred years took your approach there wouldnt be any good dogs around today FACT.
think i know what you afe saying ,,but if its not up to the job and not through old age it should not be breed fom ie,,, neutered .if its to be passed on ,,, to prevent some numpty trying to breed from it ,,
exactly
once ive got a bond with a dog a couldn
And that's the exact reason the answer to his question should be males. Way way easier to find a good one.
That's to much of a sweeping statement to be taken seriously.
isnt it just
my saluki grey pup is now 8 month old. ive had him out mooching since four month. his speed is starting to get up now and the other day he put a big strong hare up in the back field and chased it, he was keeping up with it but obviously never turned it. what i want to know is how should i go about bringing the best out of him from this point onwards. i know its not ideal him chasing strong hares at this age so should i just keep him on his lead etc. and what should i do step by step from this point onwards and over what length of time to bring out best. cheers.
Creatine is a naturally occurring energy source found in meat, it's not really a drug, more like a nutrient.
cheers mate always believed it was some sort of steriod but like i said wasnt sure
no not a drug...found in beef. the muscles use it for short, explosive bursts of power..so by supplementing with it your muscles can get them extra reps needed for growth and strength improvment. and all this piss taking about steroids..by no means give them to a dog but if people are training and eatining properly why not introduce steroids for the extra advantage. some people like to look goo
