    my saluki grey pup, 22tts, really suprised how obedient he is and easy to train after what people of said, barely no different to the collie crosses im used to.

    If I run my dog in heat, or during a phantom she will jack, she just doesn't have the pace and she knows it. Soon as she is fit again she's like a differnt dog.

    I find there is more out after twelvish but some places there's loads as soon as its dark. I think the places where there is more out later the rabbits are harder I e. Round the doors. As it is hammerd all the time so I think all the slow rabbits are killed and the fast ones are left to breed. Could be wrong likr any one else think this?

    I. Like watching dogs find run and kill quarry all off their own back, I prefer thid to coursing. Fair eneogh it is brilliant watching a top coursing dog run a hare on big land but coursing lads think its the be all and end all but its a bit hyped up and repetitive for me. If you are going to use the hare why would you want to give it a massive head start. Am sure I would be the last thing on the mind of an old gypsy relying on it for his next meal, jus my opinion.

    There's a vid on you tube of salukis doing wolves. My mates saluki/ grey does fox after fox and even mike ashleys if u know what I mean.

    My bitch finally getting fit again after her phantom, it was that bad for three month I was begining to think it was never going to happen. But I have been walking her five to ten mile a mile four or five days a week for past three weeks, went out tonight and got thirteen rabbits and one dhot and retrieved hare so very pleased. Got her booked into vets for season supresent injection so should be all good from now on.

    All depends on what your doing with her and what way she is bred, some breeds mature mentally and physically before larger breeds, dont rush with her at 7 months, let her see the rabbits, if you can take her out with ferrets and mooch the sets, see rabbits bolting and hold them in the net, this will help her settle, dont over do chasing, she has to develope her bone and muscle, pick what you can for her. I started my little bitch gradually at 10 months, ferreting , until the penny had dropped, which was within an hour, next trip took her where there was myxy and let her hunt up, it stacked

    seems like the pups having muscle spasoms every so often and hes yelping when they happen. this must be due to over exercise do you agree?

    theirs a good vets ,at old elvet treated my mates lurchers a few times,it just out side durham,just before you get 2 the big tescos s oh right, gonnna see what he like to morrow then might take him there, cheers mate
