    [bANNED TEXT] mate pup settleing in [bANNED TEXT], geting on with me other dog cheers. ai ah was going to be getting a pup of a lad i know in a couple of weeks. he just got out of jail and a looked after his dog while he was in, got it fit, it killed two deer and loads of hares (he had never seen it kill a deer) and he was charging me a hundred quid for a pup. personaly if it had been me i would have given me one, but ah would have given him 50. then theres some one like you whos selling his litter for 70 to strangers and it sounds like the parents have proved themselves alot more than the pa

    When I first started I lamped on a slip, then trained the lurchers to lamp off the lead, hard work at first but perseverance paid off, then worked them off slip all the time, using a hiss to send the lurcher. Always like a lurcher well trained in day as well, for ferreting and mooching, retrieving a must day and night, anyone tells you different aren't capable. my two will lamp off lead i never even taught them they just done it but as for retrieve its no chance,some dogs obviously wont do it as i have tried and better tried to learn them and they show no intrest what so ever i would much

    mine can lamp off the lead when it just me and her, but if another dogs running, especialy a hare or a fox etc she doesnt listen one bit, she somtimes even shakes her colller off. do u not think all off the voice commands scare quarry off too.

    what are they like at daytime work, not just hares but rabbits, fox, deer etc. and what are they like on the lamp?

    Yer started herat 13 month. Picked it up straight away, follows beam, runs to end of beam even on clappers she cant see.     yer so av ah at the begining of the season but they all shy now

    just go out round the doors to walk the dog really. get the odd rabbit. had a good run on a hare last night, it was massive. dog turned it 3 or 4 times, struck but missed and it got into rough. the ground was propper waterlogged, do you think this gives the dog a disadvantage or is it equal for both dog and hare?
