If he calls the cops, you could just find yourself looking down the wrong end of some heckler & koch guns from the armed response unit of your area. I don't think that the farmer would walk up to a bloke with a gun in his hands....... you know its an air gun , he does not from a distance and shure as heck does not want to find out what it is by getting closer. don't usually see many rats on the farms due to poisoning so when i saw these in an old parlour i sat for an hour and one by one picked them off. thoroughly enjoyable
