  1. i went sunday yes a bit pricey for the size of the venue but as iv never shown a dog in my life its just a stroll around with my bitch taking it all in for me,just like looking at all the different types really. i wouldnt get involved in showing myself just not my thing but hey each to their own eh,i thought it was supposed to be a bit of fun and a get together with a few lads but all seems far to serious for my liking . a bloke parked next to me seemed to have a dog for every class lol when i asked if he worked them he said yes all of them,f**k me the lad must have some time on his hands

  5. nice looking dog mate but certainly aint built to run ,got some nut on him
  6. Dogs never touch their own cat, infact the big idiot cries like a baby when the cat bites his tail/ear But the farm ferals are a different animal altogether in the dogs minds. Same with pheasants, wont touch them in the garden, but fair game outside. some stunning shots there, dogs certainly looking good
  7. Most folk did that were watching I've seen a few knocked down by greyhounds at the end of a race but nobody went down as hard or stayed down for as long as he did. They eventually managed to get him in the back of a 4x4 & the last i heard he was refusing to go to hospital because he lived in Nottingham & didn't want to be stuck down this way. It didn't do the little lurcher too good either. he wasnt the first to be cleaned out by a dog,had happen to me many a time out lamping he certainly not going to be the last either

  9. and well deserved just for your shear enthusiasm,
  10. had the same thing happen when i started ferreting as a lad,as someone said it was lack of technique and strenth as well,i pulled it felt it go and dropped it to the ground within seconds of it hitting the ground it was up and running id probably just dislocated the neck and it went back in as the rabbit hit the deck, tended to pull them a lot harder after that, chinning is the safe bet
  11. I went, had a look around, [you can cover it in an hour and a half]. A mate was running the lurcher show , good bloke ,so it was nice to have a craic with him. I don't think it is worth £10 entry fee TBH, but it's near me,and under cover ,so if it rains no problem . It needs more demos, imo too many stalls just selling coats etc, more relevant hunting orientated stalls , would be an improvement. Not many dvds/ books for sale this year.Mostly clothes, food. I wanted a double edged ,fixed blade knife ,for " emergencies", which was the primary reason for going , nothing available. Bought a
