sorry to hear that mate,unfortunately it seems to be quite common now-days,even our local paper,only this week has printed a warning about it, don't know how you feel about it but if it was me id be looking for another dog straight away,atvb

iv also had the helicopter over me at night while out lamping,they flashed the night sun at me so i put my lamp on them then they f****d off,id like to think they was just curious and not sent out just for me at the tax payers expense as i was on permission at the time

iv done it a couple times on a small warren out on the 18th hole of a local golf course i have permission on,the rest can be done during the day without getting in the way of the golfers,quite enjoyed it, something a little bit different

some might say she a tad big but this really not a problem for me as first and foremost she is for lamping, just want to try and make a good all rounder out of her if i can,it cant hurt to have a few different traits under her belt,well hopefully anyway

this is my bitch that im starting off this season,hopefully in a few years she can be classed as a good ferreting dog, as said not just a dog i take ferreting,time will tell

hi mate, completely understand what your saying,how long a line should i be having her on,what we talking 20m or so?i obviously want her to stay in range of the gun and keep her relatively tight,although if she puts rabbits up then she on for a run but im thinking more of pheasants that are plenty on some of my permission out in the rough,(when the season for them starts lol)if i can get her good enough would like to try using her at night with a long net,just something iv always wanted from a dog and to try my hand at,thanks again for your help,rob Hi Rob, 3 or 4m would do, might even wor

so how would you train a lurcher to quarter a field in a methodical way,rather than just dashing about hoping to stumble across game. weather it be with me walking behind her with a gun, or sending her out to quarter the field from the other end back toward me,just wondered how difficult it is or how easy, as the case may be,i did read you can do it with food ie throwing biscuits out to the sides to get the dog used to moving from side to side and using its nose as it were,just thinking what other methods there are to get them going that's all, cheers rob

im after a good,tried and tested recipe for liver pate,tried a few internet ones and to be honest not up to scratch,want a good course one not a smooth type,thanks rob

most sea-side tackle shops do them mate,also some national news papers used to show them as well,prob also get all the info you need off the internet as well i should think

Didn't say the dogs were no good, just that they are produced in a way and for reasons i could not morally support by buying a pup directly from him. i know you never,i just made some general comments that's all
