  1. i have one pup left now due to time waster.... there were 9 in the litter and 5 were ordered before they were born , they were born on the 1st of april,making them nearly 7 weeks old. the parents to the pups are as follows, dam, whippet/greyhound x norfolk tumbler 26 itts the sire is a bull/greyhound 27 itts from pye lines , both parents are owned by me and a pup from the previous mating can beSEEN and is pictured also , the dam is very fast with loads of stamina , hunts up is very obedient and marks to ground, the sire is fast , agile enough to catch in woodlands , hunts up, and works with

  6. not round here its not, we run in pairs to get the numbers, usually we have a fast dog to pull the quarry then a big massive dog to back it up. only the big back up dogs are used for stud or to start a line though. what breed of dogs are you running and more importantly who bred em , ??

  12. it was a really good show last year, there was a few wide boys there [giving it ten] but you get that every where, but we met a lot of decent people , who shared some good hunting stories , definately going this year, a must for the bull x enthusiasts and well worked terriers see you there MR POACH

  14. i know people who'v had dogs bred this way for years and then gone back when these got old and replaced them with more of the same, rabbits, hares ,and foxes no broblem, i now know people who'v got them and its a different story, and one chap is a die hard collie x fan and the one he runs at the minuite is not like the days of old , [lacking fire] , why are the pups earmarked ? ................. answer , if it was a good en , breed the same way again , " if you throw enough stones at a bucket , ones gotta go in "

  16. what about a "DOGO ARGENTINO X DEER HOUND" SIZE, STAMINA, PREYDRIVE, them dogos have plenty of stamina and they aint banned for nothing, a touch of deerhound to bring the size up me thinks

  20. ive got an old book somewhere, dont know the name of it or the auther, my last pup got hold of it and mangled it, it read about foxhound x greyhound , and it said only ever breed the first x , foxhound sire x greyhound dam , and never to cross any other way ie , back to greyhound or to another x .......also it said to choose a pup from this breeding that more resembles the greyhound not the foxhound , to keep the speed there , it was an old book but i think the auther states he,d been doing this x for 35 years with all kinds of varyations and he found this x produced the better x
