  5. Hi all, recently acquired a lurcher pup, see my other topic, He's 12 weeks, good as gold. Now, i was wondering if anyone has or does let their pup come along on a ferreting sesh to have a look? And, seeing as he's short coated, i was thinking of a whippet coat for him, he's great out in the cold, running around in snow like a loon, but i was thinking that standing around waiting for action might be a little much for a young'un Thoughts please peeps ATB LD13

  18. Just a quick wander, i got a different piece of land off of a current permission i have so went for a quick recce. It all looked very handy, and as i took my Jill and a handfull of nets i thought i'd check the two small three holers in a little bank away from the larger warrens Buck from one, Doe from the other It's a good looking bit of land, the land owner wants it worked systematically so only releases new bits once i've blitzet the ones he's given me. Can't complain, he has plenty of land, and rabbits I had a walk around the rest of the newer bit so i can draw up
  19. well, out again. Back to the orchard to pick up the stragglers from the open warrens Well, that was the plan at least, got there for 9ish, netted the first three small warrens and there was not a thing at home Onto the next, via some unwalked areas, found Brocks front door in amongst the rabbit holes so had to give that a miss, that's one mustelid i didn't fancy handling! We done a small, three holer, turned out to be a long deep warren in disguise After entering Jamies hob, we left him to settle into things then located him at just over 3'. Thick clay and Flint! so nearly two
