  1. its predjudism, but a fair comment fella
  2. u need a big and verry xsperonced hob i did this for a bit but my hob died off old age and have'nt got one good a nuff yet but when i do rats watch out u some times get a good skrap beteen them if the rat is big a nuff or pregnent. I have two slim ferret Gills that i use, i have bred this line for some time and i believe that it is not always great to use big ferrets unless you are working barns scrap heaps etc, as they struggle with the size of rat tubes, you end up digging to them alot and they cant always manouver well underground and can take alot of punishment.
  3. Yes mate, still happening. I've got a patty bitch works rats ( aswell as other things) With my two ferrets. They are small hard ferrets, I'll try and get some pics on here tomorrow night for you.
  4. Thanks mate, hopefully the pup will turn out just as good as the Patt.
  5. And some more of Ronnie. Baz, if you're out there, She's still going strong mate.
  6. Here's hoping for many more. Good practise for when i get my shotgun cert later in the year.
  7. Here's the pup, sorry bout the quality, i just had to tear the missus away from Dr Who to hold the pup still. She's 9 weeks, 3/4 JRT 1/4 SBT. Dam full jack, sire 1/2 jack staff.

  9. I went for a short walk today, just to get my new bitch pup out with me and 4 year old Patterdale bitch Ronnie. Half way round the local park ronnie marked an old 'dis used' den. I told her to find it and she was off like a rocket, the pup strained after her on the lead. Within literally 60seconds a huge dog fox bolted like red lightning across the open green, stopping for a brief glance goodbye and then off. and just as i was calming down from the initial rush of excitement there was some bush shaking and then the small Vixen made off with Ronnie hot on her heels. The vixen scaled a panel
  10. Start small scale, ratting on local farms seems the natural starting point.
  11. This is alittle long but very impressive given the target species. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59SZLki-DAU
  12. you f*****g prick why blame travellers.how any travellers like digging.you f*****g clown.bet they were watched digging men will have them.happened up north once baiters were taking terriers. watch your tongue boy, I've first hand experience of this locally and sure enough, it was the local 'boys' that had them on the site!! Hence the Bull Mastiff. So try asking about my opinion before you get Gobby. Pikeys do dig, do not be naive to thing otherwise, there's any number of open Badgers sets locally to show this goes on, and yes i do know it's travellers doing it. It's all about m
  13. A working SBT, A great Draw dog, Sadly missed. The boyyom pic shows that he wasn't always fastest on the Draw as it were.
  14. Pictured here is my Patterdale bitch, 4yrs old. and my newly aquired 3/4 JRT,1/4 SBT 9week old bitch pup/ I was recently considering another patterdale or working bred JRT. i was leaning toward a jrt but saw many poor quality dogs, it was suggested to me to look out for a sbt cross, i was a little dubious at first as i was looking for a flush dog and some sbt x's are monstors! I found this pup and was impressed with her tenasity and handy size for age. Could anyone give any opinions, pics or tales good and bad? I will be uploading more photos soon, Happy Hunting. Lon
  15. I'm in Medway town mate, Keep an eye out at the Detling Hill Kent game fair. Pikeys from all over go there and they love to show off. You won't be short of help if you find any of your dogs there mate. Best of luck. For those out there lucky enough to still have your dogs , think about getting a guard breed for gour kennel, I have a bull mastiff that lives with my terriers, Does the job.
  16. I'm from rochester Kent, I have alot of permission and it is very hard to get and even harder to keep. You have a difficult task ahead of you finding someone willing to take you on to 'their' permission. It is a sad fact that many people have had the good will to show someone onto their patch only to find that they come back later without them and have their permission flouted and name used in vain. Unfortunately you may have to start the same as many of us, go and speak to Land owners and enter your dog/s to Rat first. this is good drills for you and the dog, and the Land owner will apprec
