  3. looks a corker mate, thinking of putting my bitch back o a whip/grey but need a suitable, well worked and proven dog.
  4. Was talking to my dad the other day, he was telling me about the dogs hes had and the dogs he thought were the best potfillers ect... He said the best dog he owned was a first x whippet grey, so what do u fellas think about this breed. Get sum pictues up lads pre ban or after the ban would be great. J.A

  7. inan my old sparring partner it wasnt me who brought you into it and i have no intention of mentioning your name in any of my posts and it wasnt you I referred to as a wanabe dont be so sensitive Fair enough. Ive read some of the posts ,but its the same regurgitated stuff as the last time, so Im out. everyone had their own opinions of the hare daytime/night time, i like daytime better but i dont mind them on the lamp if there aint much else about (pre ban) of course, but what about the people with the smaller dogs who arnt hare dogs, who get sick of running rabbits all the tme nd fan
  8. mate of mine has a 22 inch whippet, thats took charlie and hares pre ban. This dog is very strong for a whippet and i havnt seen many like it before. atb J.A

  11. cheers lads, here we go again with the daytime thing, the hares are there so there gunna be caught (shot) in whatever circumstances people find them so beat it.

Well, went for a shine tuesday night was god conditions windy dark and a bit of drizzle, came to the first feild first squatter slipped and caught,we were walking the rain got heavier every step we took.As we came accross the feilds the long ears could here us a mile off and the rabbits were tight up in there burrows, as the rain was getting heavier we decided to head back, on the last feild we spotted a long one, the lads werent to sure weather to walk the feild for it to take off, but i had a feeling we were gunna have a chance, the dog did well and ended the night on a high. Anyway we ended

  14. This is my bitch, collie/grey x whippet/grey 24 tts hasnt let me down up to now, this season will be the real test, coming up three she was about 2 in this pic.
  15. a freind of mine owns one theres a pic of it in my album, this one thew more to the saluki side, exremely quick dog good on long ears day and night pre ban of course. i think this is the perfect mix for a good allround dog if brought up properly. atb JA
  16. i do more lamping than anything, for one reason, because the feilds arent big enough for daytime on the longears. Many of use lad/lasses live near hartepool ? J.A
  17. try a loud sound everytime he pulls e.g a bottle wth a few pebbles in it, everytime he pulls just shake it so the pup knows its done wrong, cant guarantee it will work, atb with the pup. J.A
