    definatly a lurcher mate, smarter can take more of a variety of quarry and also have better feet 90% of te time.

    the erliest lurchers always had collie in the breeding, simply becuse there obedient easy to train and can provide food for the pot, which was the holemeaing of having a lurcher.

    was out last night in the snow, only got two bunnies, wasnt a bad walk out though. thanks mate ive only got a young pup and every time i go out with him i always get sank so its juts exsperiance for him depending on how deep the snow is, its sometimes easier for the dog to catch with it having longer legs etc.

    personally i would take the dog were the scent of rabbits is for a walk regular maybe let it rag a dead one so it knows what the smell is. i dont think the age it starts chasing the rabbits matters aslong as it capable of catching one.
