  1. According to a TV program, the government are releasing a "paper" before Xmas on what to do with respect of controlling them in this Country.
  2. I respect everyones opinion and we are all entitled to it For me though, proof, undeniable proof of the existence of Big Cats is just not apparent. I would LOVE there to be, I adore Cats and Big cats are a particular favourite, but I just cannot accept the "evidence" which is vague to say the least in all of these cases. The escaped pets are totally true, but even then we are approaching 20yrs ago in these cases. So, I await the day when there is a newsflash to say one has been caught on camera, definitive proof, and Ill be chuffed to bits! Dawn.
  3. Again you cherry pick my points to suit ye own view, Dawn. Ye've completely side stepped, as is becoming usual for ye here, the main issues I repeatedly raise. And That is a down right fabrication. READ the very BBC / Government sponsered article you yeself thrust at us and ye'll see it clearly states the tests were " Inconclusive ". Then they tack on that the hairs " Could have been badger. ". As I say above; By that 'reasoning' they might equelly have been Orang Utan. Please return to post # 9 and start providing your Answers. Otherwise this thread will only continue with the vast major
  4. Very good point. You shouldnt breed if you are skint, it shouldnt be about the money and if you have none now, your bitch and puppies will be at risk if anything goes wrong, which is very possible.
  5. Of course they did, it was several weeks later the forensic tests on hair in the dogs mouth, confirmed it was a Badger. Yep, thats what he claimed got him some publicity too. unfortunately the tests disproved what he thought he saw. NOBODY has said people are lying, I have said before I truly believe they think they see them, but for me and in my opinion, they are domesctic Cats pure and simple. Assuming for a minute that they do live here wild, obviously they must breed, especially if you go on the "she had a baby with her" theory, so doesnt that mean the population must be
  6. Friend of mine is selling one of those stealth camera thingies that take pics in the light and dark at different intervals, anyone want to buy it and prove the Cat theory to us all?
  7. The Whippet thing. the second report is from the Scottish big cat society. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/2705063.stm http://www.scottishbigcats.co.uk/badger.htm
  8. No, not at this age DS but mt largest male is much bigger than my Borders and weighs more too, Im not saying what they could or couldnt do, just that its the most likely explanation for most of these sightings. From what I believe the Whippet thing was never proved, the owner could not say conclusively what attacked his dog, and the injuries were consistent with a Badger? Dont forget DS, the Police will come out for anything that isnt important! its the murders, rapes etc.. they take time in responding too. I have only ever heard of one carcass up a tree, only one, and there was
  9. Cats dont leave claw marks, their claws are retracted, and I doubt a cat would jump a gate, they fit through the smallest of spaces and do not expel unecessary energy. My opinion only.
  10. They are just images from the net DS, plus the news article from a couple weeks back. I dont think Millet has seen any, because personally I dont think there are any. Im offering an explanation for sightings that people think they have seen, and what these Cats probably are. I think domestic Cats are the best explanation for all sightings of big Cats. I have said before a breed like the one I own are big heavy animals that move low and slink along the ground. Do you think it stands a chance of a cat like this one of mine, just 5mths old in this pic, weighing 13lbs at that time, could b
  11. We have done this before my friend havent we? A jungle Cat is just like a bengal Cat in many ways. When folk started breeding Bengals, the original stud Cat was an Asian leopard cat, the F1 (first generation) offspring we usually bad tempered, large cats that would not live as pets, however many were rehomed as such, it stands to reason some will have escpaed and would be the most likely IMO to be living wild and be seen as a jungle or Wild cat. Savannah cats are also a domestic species that are HUGE and have been here some years, not least the "Ashera Cat" claiming to be huge and wild
  12. Been done on here before and on the other forum. NO evidence, no conclusive pictures etc... except for escaped pet pictures from the 1980's etc... I agree with Millet, somebody would of had definitive proof by now if there was any. Dawn.
  13. SUPERB pictures!! Image 0291 looks like a native type Afghan?
  14. Thanks anyway SS, wouldnt buy from PAH, and I dont want a chain to break the dogs coat. Not to worry. Dawn.
  15. Looks great! Perhaps some road walking may help his feet and pasterns? Swimming is an excellent idea. Dawn.
  16. Can you make a 3/4 inch adjustable half check collar?
  17. Great news, dog looks 300% better! Who's having him, not DS is it?
  18. Great, just what happens when you breed from bad tempered dogs, they pass it on!
  19. They just appear. All year round, but in small numbers, October they flock in large numbers.

    RSPCA

The RSPCA knocked on my friends door the other day (she has 4 Dobermanns) HE said "Oh we had a report that you had gone on holiday and abandoned the dogs" my friend said "Well I havent" and shut the door!! He just walked off!!
  21. I mentioned we are getting loads of Goldies at the moment, here is an example of on just 3 feeders. I think 8 Goldies! Dawn.
  22. Waz is correct. It consists of Amoxycillin and Clauvenic Acid, comes under several names. Synulox, Clavulox, Noroclav are a few.
  23. As it happened so quickly I just put the camera on "sports" because other wise I wouldnt of got any pics, it was all over in a few seconds. Dawn.
