    Fin Whale

What a shame, such a beautiful animal. Thanks for the photos dont think i have heard of, let alone seen a Fin Whale before.
  2. I think its a lovely kennel and run. Is one of those dogs muzzled?
  3. I use the 75-300mm Canon USM lens for longer shots/wildlife etc.. and a 28-135mm IS lens for closer stuff and faster action stuff.
  4. My friend has a 5MP stealth camera for sale if you are interested, bought if for looking for Big Cats! Never used it I dont think, do you want more info? Dawn.
  5. Dont forget to put in into reverse to take it out of 4 wheel drive!! Fronteras are a joke!

    SMK19

I have an SMK XS 20 and its fine for Squirrels, Rabbits, and all the Bird types you will need to control.
  7. If you can prove where and when it was bought you should be fine. I cant prove where mine was bought, like you it was a gift, but rooting round with dogs is hardly the right plcace to wear one of these! so like you you i wanted to sell it, still do. You'll probably find somebody to buy it, they are quality items, excellent stuff and well worth their price tag. best of luck with it. Dawn.
  8. Any jeweller will buy a Tag Heuer watch IF you have the paperwork. If you dont they wont touch them, pricey watches and a lot are stolen and try to be sold on (not imlying that here) I have one, cost £895 new, it has one pin that needs replacing, would cost max £20 to fix, I was offered £400 (jeweller WITH broken pin) for it untill I said I had no papers, then they wouldnt touch it, its the same everywhere. Each watch has a serial number which they can check against a central register, if they are stolen or lost they report the number, if it crops up again, they have the ability to catch
  9. Thanks all. I am in the West Mids. I wouldnt cull such a fine animal as that Fishfish when there is no need to, there are plenty of others and an animal like that will keep the herd full of fine specimens for the future.
  10. The herd was up to 19 yesterday, quite impressive. Last Xmas dinner consisted Venison, this year I had a Duck! It was given to me and my boss as a thank you for providing him with shooting ground, as we had a problem with Foxes coming into the kennels.
  11. My boss took these, right behind the cattery the other morning, the big fella is a real beauty, the others arent bad either! Dawn.
  12. Ill be out with the ALbrighton Woodland in the morning, then a nice lobg walk with the dogs and an afternnon watching the racing from Kempton. Dawn.

  14. This is what I meant when I said Hounds bred for stamina have "long, flat" muscle and not bulky muscle like a Greyhound. Salukis, Sloughis etc.. are made very different to Greyhounds and their conformation is very different too. I absolutely agree a greyhound would be no use at all over terrain such as that.
  15. Sadly john, some people have no clue what they are talking about!
  16. Meerihunter. BEAUTIFUL Hounds, I really like the black and white its superb, you should be proud of those! Huntmanpezza. Surprised its smooth all over given that both breeds are coated. I know you get some smooth coated Salukis (lovely!) but cant see Afghan in it? Best of luck with him/her hope it does well for you.
  17. No Parvo is a canine disease NOT feline. Its caught through infected feaces and direct contact with affected animals. I dont think other animals can pass it on, but I dont think its beyond the realms of possibility that a ferret, rabbit etc could walk through infected feaces and if a dog came in contact with it in that way, maybe they could catch it. Dawn.
  18. My boss has just bought one, swapped it for his Honda CRV which was dissappointing. Very good motor, plenty of power, comfortable, roomy, not had it long but cant fault it so far.
  19. Yes they are native types, look a bit smaller, wider fronted and more heavier boned? Like them, I like anything like that. I think Salukis are tougher skinned from what ive seen, certainly more so than Greys or Whippets. Sloughis are like Salukis, i think a Sloughi could make a decent worker, they are fairly biddable.
  20. Do you like Azawakhs Mark? See I love sighthounds, all of them, particularly the smooth Saluki, Sloughi and the Azawakh. I have seen a few in this country, but they dont compare to the likes of some of the others around the world. I dont think anyone works them here, their skin is like paper, it rips very easily, but I really think they are beautiful and I expect could do a days work. Dawn.
