    Accents yeah lol . we have it hard in our house as we have a different accent each . both my misses and me are from Galloway Irish families and are the first born in England to at least one English parent in our wider families . We have one English grandparent between us. My mam was born in longtown, and will die there , but she has a lovely lilting mixed Scot’s accent as she was born to my Scottish granny and they lived near Lockerbie until she was at school .     Fun fact , the Beatles were nearly the hardest pop band that ever lived as a certain scouse actor who played the drums in spare time , worked with Paul McCartneys brother but never bothered turning up for the audition after Pete best jacked name that mans man for ten points ? my first lurcher was named after one of his characters

    Overwalked by any chance ? excited by having a pup that your looking forward to getting out with and making the most of the summer by taking it everywhere ? no criticism but it’s still a puppy mix some tins of chopped tomato for potassium amongst you dogs food and restrict the dogs walks to short lead walks for a while until it abates

    Do you not find that’s with the insane amount of inbreeding with coursing dogs, tve amount of scrap about is unreal . you can often look at a dog and know that’s a razor / lucky / foxy / Charlie bred type without even asking as it’s just shines out the plethora of the lineage is causing inbreeding with performances affected let’s have it absolutely right , a lot of coursing types are made of glass

    I used to have a very good dog book , that was full of obscure dog breeds , and had pages and pages of obscure greyhound types from the Middle East / caucus regions with lovely illustrations on them all if I remember rightly , saluki is a term applied to dogs that are judged to be clean , the smooth coated variants from the warmer climates of Iran etc are sloughis and a tasy / tazi is more a steppe running dog somewhere between a whippet and a greyhound
