    Just came off the phone to the Dyfed Powys Firearms office , i asked them to check to see if a farm was already cleared for firearms use they just gave me a very shirty reply " we will not give out that information over the phone , you must submit a letter asking in writing plus a letter from the landowner giving you permission " I said i am not asking you to check the land , i am asking you to see if it is already cleared for firearms use , she then hung up on me . I was under the impression that it was a perfectly reasonable request ?

    I work in Brecon its only a small town and never heard of them , also cant find any contact phone numbers or address on their website only an email .

    Nasty !! What make of Ammunition was this ,i have had quite a few Remingtons with a small split after firing .

    They are only made of mild steel , i had to drill a few extra holes in a brattonsound one , no problem at all , just use a normal metal drill bit.

    Yes the FEO will talk to your landowner , usually just a quick phone call to check you have permission and to arrange to check the land is suitable.

    A Pit Bull bitch i owned years ago used to eat fruit straight off the bush , my missus used to go nuts because the dog ate all the gooseberries .

    You also need to learn about the hygiene and to get hold of an Autoclave before you go near anybody , all that kit needs sterilising . i would advise getting your hepatitus vaccinations as well (my son has a very successful Tattoo shop)

    The holder of the shooting rights can be used ( was for my FAC with no problems) thanks for the reply, what would i put on my land nomination for the as it asys this 'TO BE COMPLETED BY THE OWNER/AGENT/OCCUPIER/TENANT* OF THE LAND ON WHICH SHOOTING IS PROPOSED.' I put the address of the land plus the holder of the shooting rights name and address and enclosed a letter of permisson to shoot from the holder of the shooting rights.

    Firearms are not permitted during archery seasons...... All the animals in this video where all killed with one arrow and harvested for the meat and or the hide....     I think i will phone them one more time monday and explain my worrys and if the certificates have not arrived by the following weekend i'm going to phone BASC and take it from there . my missus made a very valid point as in i have paid the licence fees met all the requirements and am not getting the service ive paid for and if it was anybody else rather than the police, you would not stand for it. Thanks for all the advice

    I have recently moved house ,phoned the fireams licensing office and was told i had to send in both my FAC and SGC certificates with a covering letter with my new address and security details i did this on april 9th , 2 weeks later my FEO did the security check and everything was ok , since then i have phoned the office twice and been told both times that everything was fine and my certificates were in the print que and they would be in the post , i still have not recieved them and have now been without them over 2 months , would it be unreasonable to involve BASC at this point ? conside
