    Got a 3/8 5/8 bull grey dog here 3 year old couldn't ask for a better dog great with other dogs people and kids and also all livestock got his little sister as well she's 11 month and the she is just the same but likes a daft turn running about with other dogs

    Where abouts is that buddy? Up past Loch Lomond to the rest and be thankful turn left and follow the single track road , my in laws have just got a caravan there so it's handy for me getting a wee holiday

    Was up at lochgoilhead there for a few days never had a dog with me though but might the next time there's some nice walks up there

    Run bull xs just now but always fancied trying a 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy or just a lurcher x lurcher with a bit of everything in it

    Done the same myself last year had a pup booked ended up getting the whole litter ( only 3 pups ) at 4 was old as boy couldn't keep them , so reared the pups to 8 wks made my choice and gave the other 2 away but the boys that got them keep in touch and I would like to think they would return the favour if I needed a pup , dog game shouldn't be about money good honest lads keeping / breeding good honest dogs should be what it's about

    Had a lurcher couple of years ago with picardy and beardie in it and although turned out to be a decent dog it didn't have the same drive as the old mick douglas dogs my pals had years ago

    why ? Something different and gives us the chance to get lurchers like the old mick douglas dogs that used to be up this way

    Was talking to a boy last week about smithfeilds he knows someone in New Zealand that works them we spoke about importing a pup but haven't realy looked into it yet

    Just got 2 shaped lurcher collars for my 2 had 1 already but decided to get new collars for them both top quality and will outlast the dog you put it on

    Dog needs to be chasing livestock before you can shoot it I thought so you would be breaking the law then you are sujesting you and your shooting buddies are going to set about said lurcher owner with big sticks knifes and machetes that's a sure fire way of looseing your licence
