Good dogs do come up for sale now and again...but alot more change hands for no money at all...the ones that are gifted are usually genuine men gifting to genuine men who know that the dog will be cared for and worked hard...too many fly by nights /dealers in it for the money and just dealing in dog misery..atb stabba

Imo it doesnt matter how good your dog is...there,s always someone out there with better....keep your dogs well looked after and trained to a high standard and you wont be far off the mark. Some of the best dogs are kept within a tight group of lads/lasses and are never passed out of that circle. So in all fairness its a bit of a moot point as to who owns the best...atb stabba

There,s a world of difference between a fox killer and a fox fighter...the latter usually get found out in the end...personally i like a dog to take the fox by the rib cage...its usually over in seconds after a good hard crunch...the vitals just cant recover after a good rib crunching bite...although a throat dog is just as good....atb stabba

Why is it that everytime i open a sporting magazine ie EDRD there always seems to be a big name selling dogs/puppies. Yet let an average man on the street sell a litter or 2 then he,s classed as a peddler. Yet these big names always seem to spout about gifting puppies/dogs in their articles. Is it 1 rule for them and for us another? atb stabba
