    Dont care what dog it is...any dog in regular contact with foxes is gunna get bit...Take the foxhounds for example...fox killin machines but still carrying the scars to prove it. First thing a fox does when a dog closes with it is spin and try to bite. Admittedley not all foxes make contact but a damn fair few of them do. 5 nights a week foxin and no bites to the face or legs??? lala land mate...atb stabba

    I bet 90% on this forum dont know the correct weight of their dog...Knowing the weight is an absoloute must so you can get the correct dosage for worming.....how many dogs get under dosed or over dosed must be staggering...Know your dogs weight people...For the good of its health...atb stabba

    Dont know if it still happens but in days gone by we used to demand a months trial with the dog...2 weeks minimum...nowadays most are happy to see the dog on for just a couple of hours...if they aint willin to part with the dog on a decent trial then i aint or wouldnt be intrested...atb stabba

    I regularly go out with a shooter....He,s one of the mildest and humble blokes you,ll ever meet....im sure if he wanted to do a write up on here it would be both entertaing and ifformative. but he chooses not to and just gets on with it. If only all the lurchermen were like him this forum would be a much better place...atb stabba

    So its ok for hunt kennels to pts old hounds but not your average man on the street? Some people just dont have the room to keep elderly/retired dogs on. I certainley agree that some dogs take better to retirement than others but its down to the individual whether he chooses the path of pts his/her ageing animal...atb stabba

    Flesh and plenty of it...in the form of beef.. lamb and chicken...although for quick weight gain i prefer lamb ..atb stabba

    The dog is still a puppy at that age...it might be best to just let it have free reign everyday for a hour or so. Puppys tend to run about alot when allowed to do so ....maybe a couple of throws of a ball now and then may halp also...just dont over do it mate...atb stabba
