What will be interesting to see in the long term is if the specific crime goes down as the scum no longer "need" to thieve to buy drugs, then where will those who make a living selling it get their money from? As usual folk on here not getting the full story..........! This was a trial project not a policy! The results of this project will be released later today. However preliminary results show that crime was reduced considerably in the area and the success rate for addicts to get off the sh*te are far greater than other projects. NO WAY. I do not want to live in a police state. The people who hold all this information are incompetent. It has proven time and time again how useless the security systems on computers are. how corrupt the police are and how human error causes the loss of millions of personal details of ordinary innocent people. Surely it depends on numbers and location? You have a good point Malt but if you have a couple of packs of say a dozen located in the more remote locations? And I can't see the problem with public safety. To what advantage though? Just to keep the deer population down? Surely deer management is being conducted properly? Absolutely right. End of school parties seem to be the peak times for trashing the countryside. I've even had a polite word with some I've seen. Just asking to take their crap home with them. No result. When you can buy a two man tent in ASDA for £20 it gets used once and then dumped in the hedge or torched. Blimey, Just came back from holiday on Saturday to find my lads favorite ferret and best worker dead in his sleeping box, cuddled up with his sister. The lass that was looking after them had fed them that morning watered and fresh bedding. Had to move the ferts out of the box to do it. The lad was distraught. No bleeding signs or anything.
