    Pest Hunting

Even if a estate is putting down large numbers of game birds for sport. i do not belive this should ever come first over the management of pests and habbitat managment for native speises. a good pest control plan in "season" or not will show large beifits to the next seasons sport as will a good habbit managment plan as the number of wild birds and birds left from the last seasons stock will be higher, and will have a better chance to breed young there for resulting in a higher number of adult birds on the ground the following season, there four resulting in more enviromentaly shoot with a lar

    Pest Hunting

i dont think you should ever stop with pest control. ive been told its to early to catch magpies, i mean come on if you can trap them then do it. as for foxes and all this out of season crap, if i can kill a vixen before she drops her pups it saves me time and saves on the vixen killing alot more wild nesting birds. and its now we should be hitting the foxes hard to save damage on are wild bird population but yet i still hear of guys who will not kill "out of season" in my opion it these people who dont understand the way the country side works and are just out to kill a animal. well there you
  12. 1.5 deisel 106 there ace used to lamp in mine all the time raceing over stubble and so on dint brake till i had a meeting with a tree on the way to work and a tank of deisel will last weeks and weeks
  13. sadly it is true but i belive only on pigeions you are only allowed to shoot them for pest control if all other methords fail. this also means that you can not shoot them for pure sport. but if you read the open genral lieince it has all ways said they can only be killed for pest control. so has it ever been legal to shoot them for sport? sorry for the spelling osimons89
  14. best why by far is to get a few mates together and go out on a farm that way u can have a bit of fun too and the cost of a clay trap soon pays for its self
  15. i passed my DSC1 first time no problems had a farm i worked on set up for stalking loaded with roe munties and a few fallow the farmers responce was yer what ever im not worryed dont do that much damage do they. was planing to get my FAC no problems there loads of land and refrances. then moved to belgium for work and havent even looked at a deer since. i think it is not what you can do on paper any one can read a book and do a test. its what you can do with your hands what your really know and understand that matters in are lines of work
