  1. if the rabbit was screaming foxes could have picked them. try a few fox wires round the out side of the area where the rabbit wires are.
  2. was the ground ripped up around the tealer, were there and prints or was the ground to hard?
  3. seasons nearly over soon be putting out the larsen, crow traps and snars again . Anybody got any good tips. you the ones the old boys tell on the beaters cart and no one pays any notice till you try it and it works like a dream. Thanks

  6. sadly they aren't, only the G crested....ring up english nature.,..or whatever its called now and seek advice... just a warning a SSSI comes with some very strict rules and regulations. witch can make shooting and farming practices very hard if not impossball. have a look, all the rules can be found on the net. it may be more trouble than is worth depending what the land use / uses are. dont get me wrong we need to work with consavation as much as we can. but theres a lot we can do our selfs befor getting possibly anti field sport goverment bodies involved.
  7. Muck boots fantastic work in belgium have 4inches of snow on the ground never had cold or sweaty feet. only complaint is the grip fantastic on mud woodland. but not so good on concret or ice. best pair ive ever had not too pricie eather

  9. hi im a new member. i was at college two years training to be a keeper. i sopose im one of the lucky ones i now works as a underkeeper in belgium. all i can say is at college get your head down and do the work ur mates may take the pi** when your doing your work rather than going down the bar but in the end your toutor will notice and hes the one with the conections hes the one you will ask for a refrance. when it comes to work placements dont be scared to write to the bigger estates there the ones with the high work loads and a good report from a well known estate and keeper look good on yo
