    I've got a 15 month old albino hob, he's whole, worked a bit and is tame. Only getting rid as I dont need another hob ! Will throw in a dozenor so free nets - only the bisley ones, unused (no pegs) and can drop off in N Wales (most places), Cheshire and Merseyside.

    Have erected perches on and inbetween trees for birds to roost in, its worked well so far. Suggest you take a visit to a game farm, you wont see many roosting facilities there. On a personal note I cant stand people who make snap judgements and comments that have no bearing on the original post! Never said I was a keeper (I'm not) and am certainly NOT lazy arsed as I work 60hrs a week and look after our syndicate shoot in my "spare" time. Dont use trees as posts either so keep your negative comments to yourself easy mate danw and lab are secret lovers as we hit a raw nerve when i put a

    Beezo, I've got an albino hob. Hes 13 months old, tame, whole, very quick. Happy to chuck in a dozen or so nets, they're only crappy bisley ones but good enough to get you started ! Can drop off too if you like. All FOC. Happy to help somebody get into ferreting, willing to show you how to make nets etc.....

    We just put a debris mesh roof on our pens stops all raptors !! Bit of cost but worth it Unrealistic on any decent pen. Licenses to control them at peak times is the only way. What do you consider a 'decent' pen? Im not being funny, I genuinely believe netting is very effective. Doesnt do shit for the birds outside the pen mind. A decent pen is a large pen with substantial trees in it for birds to roost which in turn makes it immpossible to put any kind of netting over. I understand if we are talking 100 birds here but on larger shoots pens can be massive in size. I think Danw
