Um, is any of that actually relevant? The issue is securable borders for Russia. Think of the former Soviet Union for reference. All of the European Nations have failing demographics. Which makes them less desirable trading partners. Doubly so if they are intent on killing off most of their young men. It was now or never for Russia as it is for NATO, and the EU. We had a conversation on here about this a few years ago. I said then that Europe may end up fighting alone. Maybe I was right.
