  1. Cheers Davy, I can't find anything on the internet regarding the Webley falcon, i'll keep looking.
  2. My dad has a webley falcon air rifle and he has owned it since he was 16 (he is now 57) he would like the gun cleaned up and tuned, he painted the barrel etc a few years back with car paint which is now all flaking off, there is a couple of screws fitted that are the incorrect ones and a few years back the spring snapped and the local gun shop fitted something dunno what it was but it is now very loud and twangy, does anyone know anyone in the north east who could possibly take a look at the gun and give it a good overhaul, he wants to keep it for sentimental reasons and i would like to use it
  3. I have shot rabbits in the past where I have hit it high and pierced it's ear for it, went and picked it up and that was the only damage, A hole in the ear, very wierd.
  4. I can't get away with the tiny .177 pellets, they just don't seem to do it for me, never owned a .177 so it's .22 all the way
  5. I once got raided a few hours after zeroing my scope in my massive surrounded by trees garden, a few hours later I got a phone call saying it was the police and can I come to the front door with my hands in the air, I went to the door as i thought it was a joke but when I opened the door all the street was closed off and i had loads of guns pointing at me, some stupid neighbour had phoned them saying i was going mad in the garden with a shotgun, the police come in checked my guns, I had a rapid 7, 2x BSA supersports and a webley falcon at the time, they checked them all and said they were fine
  6. What utter garbage, but if you don't mind me asking why do the police now have it? why was it took from you?
  7. Cheers fellas I paid 90 quid for it, I'm after the same scope that I had on my old rapid 7 the simmons whitetail classic 3.5-10x50 Also with the barrel being so short does anyone know if a sling and swivels will fit on ok??? I'm a bit concerned about the swivel on the barrel catching on the stock.
  8. OK, here is a picture of the gun so far, I wasn't too keen on the colour of the stock (quite light) so i sanded it down, removed all lumps and bumps and went for the darkest walnut stain i could find and applied 4 coats, also I am in the process of re-bluing it but it's taking a little longer than I expected, so.............. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is and what it's worth including the SMK 3-9x40 scope???
  9. i'll put some up when i get in from work, its a bit of a mess at the moment as im on sanding down the stock ready to be stained a darker colour.
  10. Between the theoben fenman and the theoben evolution? I have just bought a gun and been told he thinks it was a evolution, i've tried a few searches but drawn a blank, I know the evolution replaced the fenman but what are the differences? Ther gun I have bought has a Vortex silencer if thats any help???

  13. LOL No way, i'm a .22 man allover, can't get my head round the tiny pellets.
  14. a lot of money for a old gun though mate, I see why though, they must of held their price for a reason.
  15. ok i will rule out the BSA range, will look at the air arms, theoben and weihrauch.
  16. Looks good, however no matter what i do with rabbit I'm not too keen on it.
  17. No I don't like the look of the tactical, prefer the plain lightning xl i'm a lover of carbines aswell.
  18. I'd prefer not to have PCP mate, my permissions are quite a drive away and totally overrun with vermin so i don't want the hassle of charging bottles or stirrup pumps, suppose i could just get myself another rapid 7 and a spare buddy bottle HAHA
  19. theres something about the look of that gun I don't like It's where the barrel jouns the main body of the gun, i'm a fussy bugger aswell haha
  20. Hi guys and girls I am looking for recommendations for a air rifle to get back into the sport, I am still going to be ferreting in the winter months but would like to get out on my farms with a air rifle to keep populations down and keep farmers happy, I took a break from air rifles when I lost my permission what seems like many years ago, i first started shooting with a BSA supersport mk2 ss Carbine with nikko stirling gold crown 6x40 scopes (I think) the moved on to a theoben rapid 7 with simmons WTC 3.5-10x50 scopes, laser and logun gun lamp, i traded in guns for a nice beretta shotgun to s
