    Got an invite from fieldsporthunter to go out last night on his permission. Took my bitch and fieldsporthunter took his from same litter. Killed 15 rabbits apiece could have had double that but didn't want to push the dogs too hard. Wish I'd put my wellies on as it was a bit muddy, wind kept blowing my hat off and the dog wouldn't retrieve it but over the moon with the way both dogs worked. Brought four of the rabbits home to try a rabbit curry pie, fieldsporthunter took the rest to feed dogs and ferrets. Pie went down well with the family even the granddaughter got stuck in.

    Had a look out last night with young eddytom and his sister, took Brack and Sarahs bull whippet. Had a good night Brack had some good long slips, ran straight down the beam and retrieved back to hand every time, Sarahs little dog did well had a few runs and picked up a couple not bad considering it hadn't lamped before, back out tonight with Pearl. Hare shot and retrieved atb Fourtrak.

    They seem to be bulking out more, shinier coat and they seem to have more energy and no where near as much sh** in the pen

    Changed from dry dog food to chicken mince, rice, vegetables and keepers mix, been on it two weeks and I can see a difference already

    We all learn by our mistakes, look at the end result, pointer and hawk work perfect together, excellent team, its the type of hunting you like to do so its worked out perfect atb Fourtrak

    I agree with pointer I was gifted one of these books for letting him hunt my land with the pointer and the hawks, you get to see the highs and lows of hunting not like most books only putting in the positives and covers a lot more categories for example shooting, terrier work, hawk and pointer and fishing. Pictures fantastic and I would never part with it atb Fourtrak

    certainly would mate. One thing I have learnt is every dog Is different even in same litters. Any x can be something I suppose. Atb I have 2 out the same litter one 22tts and the other one 26tts you wouldn't think they were litter mates

    Don't know exactly spaniel x, saluki xIt off my pure saluki to my springer bitch, couple have turned out very handy things out the litter couple just pets The ones that work have been made by the lads who own them, good owners make the best and these lads have certainly done great with them they suit the land they work Think many hold back doing it cos there too much wastage per litter, they wouldn't suit a lot of lads needs but very handy tools for boys who got them I've said it before hell of a little bitch if I had the space I'd have one Lovely thing ain't she, credit too the lad, sh
