    bump

In fact it's even on Wikpedia defined as 'Bring Up My Post' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_%28Internet%29
  3. Are any of you falconry types associated with "Dartmoor Hawking" ?
  4. Look in the 'design' subsection - there's a thread in there

  6. wouldn't that make carrots invisible ..........
  7. I'd hold your horses if I were you, until you've had some input from the real experts on here. The people who have actually used hazel tealers and can tell you what the pitfalls are. As I said, I don't qualify .......
  8. do you mean a full length gun slip ? zip up thing ? or a leather barrel sleeve that goes on a SbS ?
  9. Nik, I don't qualify but does this help ? Sometimes I think there is also a smaller split peg holding up the outer side of the loop, but that might just be heavier fox snares
  10. Another good post Mole Catcher - well done. I'll move it into the 'designs' sub forum once everyone has had a good look.
  11. Welcome to THL. Hold tight and don't take anyone too seriously ...................
  12. I was thinking about that little girl this morning but didnt want to say anything as coudnt remember the litte lasses dads name to mention it , but that is a good one as well and would be absolutly fine by me Are you thinking of Courtney ? The girl that we raised money for last year on Hardcore Hunting ? The dad's name was Charlie on there.
  13. Have you heard of the 'Spider Appleal' ? I don't know if this guy is still going, but it might be a good dog linked cancer charity cause http://www.nationalgamekeepers.org.uk/news/11/
  14. I never thought of using the Kania for anything but squirrels Good idea.
  15. Not withstanding the question of a MK6 I think this is a very instructive post so thanks for taking the time to put it together mole catcher. It's important that you point out not to use a MK4 because of course they are not approved for mink and so illegal. Whether it does the job or not, the MK6 is approved and legal for mink. I have to agree with Chalkwarren though in that my recent experience of MK6s has been disappointing. I put this down to them being cheap imitations but perhaps there is more to it than that. I'm about to start experimenting with body gripper - are there other traps
  16. You need to be a bit carefull with cheap ones. I bought some mark 6 at a game fair last year that seemed good value - one of them has just smashed itself when it fired

    R.I.P

Such a shame. Only just started to get to know the guy last week. My condolences to all his family and freinds
  18. Bloody good idea. I'm in. I don't know what the family circumstances are, but they might welcome the cash more than flowers.

    bipod

No that I remember. It isn't a very tight fit - just held on by the spring on the legs and it's all plastic. On the tx I had to clip it to the underlever so got in the way a bit. I would use it still on my super10 but the buddy bottle is in the way.

    bipod

I used one of these for a while on my airarms tx200 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Clip-on-bipod-for-us...1QQcmdZViewItem bit fiddley when reloading but worked OK.
  21. If not to him, then it would be to me
  22. That was part of the reason I thought the Super10 would be a good candidate because it has a buddy bottle so you can atleast swop them over in the field. getting tempted now ............
  23. I'm thinking of converting my BSA Superten to FAC and was trying to weigh up the advantages. OK so I know it gives you more range, but are there any other benefits over 35 yard ranges ? - is it flatter arc ? - is it quicker ? (I'm sure the rabbits are ducking!) And has anyone got any experience of an FAC superten ? Thanks John
  24. well done Glad to see you following through on the prep for the table too.
