  11. thanks for that pal. it was just an idea. its not that serious that i have to take him to the vets as ive been smothering it with anteseptic cream that helps it heal, prevent infection and numbs the pain. seems to be doing him a world of good. i have also been road walking him morning and night to help him put pressure on it. he will be back to normal in a couple of days. thanks for your concerns. atb N.H
  12. my lurcher cut the side of his pad whilst out lamping. i thought it was healed and never seen swellin. i took him out lamping the other night and he re opened the wound. i have been baving it with salt water and putting some ateseptic stuff on it. my question is would i be able to give him some flouxacillin (i think its called that) which my mum has for her leg that is swallon up abit?? let me now asap please. thanks in advance N.H
  13. i suppose it doesnt really matter. all dogs different shape and sizes will run in a different style. all have there ups and downs and if you run a dog mainly on bigger game it will have a style of running to suit it and then if you change it to smaller game it will have to change its style of running. it all varies. atb

  15. well he seems very mature as he has lived on his own no other dogs around him. everytime he sees me pick the lamp up he jumps up me. very keen

  17. well my lurcher is 12 month and a week how many times do you think i can work him a week. ive been working him since he was about 10 month once a week. can i now work him 2 times a week maybe 3 or is he still to young. thanks in advance. N.H
