    i must admit i have always liked this breed of lurcher. he seen any work yet mate. he looks a cracker i must admit. atb N.H

    but with the ammount taken with dogs there number would still increase where as shooting them the numbers rapidly decrease. i find hares a good bit of sport on the lamp or day and running them with dogs gives them a chance to survive where as shooting them kills good hares which in my eyes is a big waste also i would hate to shoot an hare and see it run off injured.

    kye is 13 and half month old now and has accounted for a good ammount of game and is still improving. the fox, hares and deer was all took in legal ways. heres a few pics of him and the game he has taken up to yet. 2 rabbits and a hare he took the other night. a few of many of his catches of rabbits on the lamp. kyes first fox and lamped hare. his first deer. his first race at a show which he won. from when he was a pup to now. dont be shy to put some pics up of your up and coming pups and their achievments. atb N.H

    i decided to lamp a particular place friday that i have not lamped for a while. i new it holded quite a few bunnies and hares. even though it p****d it down i saw a fair ammount out. the first run on a bunny in which kye failed to pick it up but carried on and caught a further two which to my suprise were the only runs on bunnies i had. he retrieved the hare on the last run of the night and caught very well to were he caught it in mid air as the hare jumped. im very proud of kyes progress he is 13 month old and coming on very well. heres a pic of kye and his well deserved catches.

    yeah very clever but do they have the balls like a bull x seem to be very good in the way of cutting off rabbits and running outside the beam but does it take that little longer to get them onb fox where as a bull x could be doing at 12 months. suppose its 6 and two 3s my dog has collie in him, no bull and took his first fox at 11 1/2 month. atb N.H what else has he in him ? his dam was a hancock bitch 3/8 5/8 collie grey and sire was beddy whippet grey.

    well i decided to have a look out last night with my 13 month old pup he did well considering he has came back from an injury to his footpad. took 3 out of 4 which i was pleased about as the fields i lamped are sorounded with barbed wire and the rabbits just jump through. making a nice rabbit stew today atb N.H
