I have had a suzuki lt sat in the barn for some time now and never really bothered to get it fixed as not had the time or energy to be arsed to pull it out from everything that is on top of it or around it. went in there today to have a look. now i have tried to start it and all i get is a clicking from the black relay box (if any of you have one of these for your kids or what ahve you, you wil no what i mean)( solinoid). but the problem is you cant by pass it with screw drive because its a box not like other solinoinds. now i was wondering if i replace this relay box with a new one will

  5. Cut a fair bit of hazel and has been left to dry etc. but what lenght should they be cut at roughly for using them in a quick set system?? cheers

  9. spoken to my boss's farther in law who runs greyhounds. they have put me in the right direction for a vet to use. benny 1 how long was it before the dog was up and running again after the op'?? and also how much did it cost? (roughly) cheers
  10. cheers everyone. when i first noticed it i didnt see any swelling or heat. had been strapped up for ages and just walking. had no problems with the toe until last night when he had a little run round the park, (first time he been on lead since first done it) could i get away with running the dog wit the toe strapped to the other?? as only comes out when running. or anyone reccomend a good greyhound vet?

  12. no swelling at all.. it will pop out when running, if i notice it and touch it then it pops back and will stay in place unless runs hard again. no pain or destress is caused. happened while back now. as i have had his toes strapped up and on box rest. then started just walking him for last 6 weeks and was strapped up for bout week . thought it had fixed. took him out this evening for light run which turned into a hoooo haaaaa round the park like some nutter as he not been off the lead.
  13. i have always thought my dog had good feet, an important thing to many of us that work lurchers. my dog has some how broken a toe i believe. now the toe only breaks over to the outside. its a middle toe on hind foot. this only ever occurs when the dog is running hard with sharp turns and slowing up quickly. but is the toe broken. as it does not fall all over the place and sometimes wont break over to one side. now could it be a ligament on one side of the toe is broken/torn. i have taped the toe to the other toe, box rest dog.. walkin on hard even ground. but think time to

    hi im farrier apprentice! you 1st of all need get a forging certifcate which can be gained by taking an exam. ideally do a pre farrier course for a year . i attented warwickshire college. you then need find an apprenticeship which is not easy. that last 4.5 years all depending if you pass exams every 6 months. wages start at 120 p/w. hours are long.. hard work... and if you over 19 yrs old its even harder to get an apprenticeship as you cant get funds or grant like young lads do.. so you have pay for it all your self. tuition fees etc or boss pays it (very unlikely) bit brief but if yo

Just been out in garage cleaning ferrets out and roaming around the shed and garage and found a plough land anchor for self recovery. brilliant for when off roading. must of been sat there ages, as i have never bovered using it. looks in good condition swap or px for anything really to do with hunting. gun, ferreting stuff, what ever you've got haha am in suffolk or travel to surrey and midlands alot. cheers

  20. yer go for the metal flick switch lasts longer and just screws onto were ever you wish to have it. plastic ones tend to break. but like a said their sooooo cheap compared to buyin a new ignition
  21. if your not fused about having a key anymore. you can cut the wires back and fix on a flick switch from halfords for less than a few £'s.
