I bought a probe off simon whitehead at a gamefair a few years ago for a £5, its a crackin bit of kit worthwhile taking i would say. I use it for digging wae the terriers too. Cheers FTB

Think i was using that a couple of years ago, the dogs do alright on it and its quite cheap but it has a high ash content, meaning its full o shite. As i say, dogs did ok on it, changed feed because someone i know has his own brand now, so i use that FTB

I work on a large dairy farm part time, at uni full time. Its a great job to have enough money for uni, pleanty of summer work, its all outdoors and you get a fair bit of slack in the winter to do as you please.Oh, and you end up wae shit loads of permish because everyone kens who you are. Win win situation. FTB

I would have thought if arthritis was the problem, a pair of high boots would be the answer, far less movement and far more comfy. Either meindl, le chameau or black islanders. If wellies, muckboots are about as comfy as you can get. FTB

I would keep him well away from them, at least untill he is old enough to be diciplined. You need to nip it in the bud or it will do you no favours later on, scolding him will not put him off flushing game. FTB

And by the time the quarry sees the dog it could be wearing a lumi jacket and a couple of glowsticks for all it matters LOL it will either crouch or run. My pal runs two black and white whippets, and it dont matter worth a fck what colour they are, and i defy anyone to prove me wrong. FTB

"What do people get for it" That is not important, for someone who clearly doesnt know much about gundogs you should not be breeding for money. You should breed when you decide your dog has all the traits and attributes you desire in a working animal, then put him to a good bitch of equally high standard for a pup out of it yourself, money need not change hands. My opinion of you has went down somewhat. If thats you attitude then you might as well breed off him now, you might make 100 quid or so FTB
