    A terrier of mine must be able to hunt and find its earths, and inevitably the quarry inside them. It must mark strong to ground and be broken to livestock. It must stay with its quarry untill it shifts it or is dug to. It must be sensible and at the same time not give its quarry too much respect. It must work both large quarry. Anything else is a bonus, anything less is not worth holding on to or breeding off. Cheers FTB

    I was only taking the piss mate, e pups and the likes are breeding grounds for peddlers and arseholes. TBH you dont want anything off the internet, nothing but shit. Try and look into your dogs past breeding and look for a bitch out the same lines.

    Pulling a dogs tail can cause irrepairable damage as it is connected to the dogs spinal cord. Terriers should not be 'pulled' when at quarry anyway as this has assosciated risks in itself without saying too much. FTB

    I know a lad who trials spaniels and docked a litter of spaniels. Someone for whatever reason reported him(informing them he had illegally docked pups tails) to the RSPCA and they came round for an inspection. At this time the pups were only a couple of weeks old and the fukcwits couldnt determine whether they had been docked or not. He never heard anything more about it. Does anyone know what the punnishment is for this? FTB

    I have been offered some rabbit ground in Essex, high population of rabbits. Landowner is looking for a RELIABLE.SENSIBLE.SAFE.TRUSTWORTHY person to carryout rabbit controll. PM me your phone number if you are interested and i will pass on your contact to the farmer. You would be expected to use any methods you deemed suitable to controll the problem. Lamping, shooting, ferrets, dogs, snaring etc. Iron out the details with the landowner. Permission is in Hockley, Essex. Cheers FTB

    Anyone looking for a working terrier should get one out of working stock. Anyone looking for a pet/show dog should get another breed, there are pleanty of breeds fcked up by breeding for show. There will be some show dogs that will work (about0.001%, and chasing rabbits is NOT what they were bred for). All the same is for working strain, not all of them will work, but if you breed from the best workers you hope the pups should turn out ok.     Funny you should say that, my cinimon bitch done it last saturday. She was a bad skulker as a kit, but has never done it since. I was going to wrap her, but i will give her another chance. FTB

    Never. Learn how to train him yourself or when you get him back from 'training' he will take the piss as you have no controll over your dog. Know of many wealthy estate owners who spend thousands a year training dogs and they are as wild as fck. FTB
