    I had a similar customer "I'm over run with mice and I've got a 2 month old baby so i'm worried about diseases can you do an urgent call out " she said, after half a hour on the phone explaining what needed to be done, I then told her what the price would be and she then said "oh I thought rat catchers charge about £15 I'll leave it because a friend has given me a square block of blue poison" again I'll wait and see how long it is before she rings back.....and the price has gone up another £10

    Are you sure it's a bed bug.......looks more like my mother in law! Great footage I always use Cimetrol and then Ficam D around the sockets etc for bbs.

    I agree with everyone, contracts and farmers mix like oil and water.....don't bother I had one with a particular farmer I would clear his moles unfortunately the bloke next door didn't bother with his every other day he was on the phone "ones come under the wall can you call" this farm was 20 miles away from me what a fecking pain it was and a lesson learned. I think it's much better to have them "pay as you go" Andy

    I've kept bantys and chickens virtually all my life and have never had cats bothering them, for there size a bantam when it feels it's in danger can be very aggressive I’ve even seen hardened farm cats go out of there way to avoid confrontation with bantams so I don't think cats will be a problem, foxes, mink etc will be your problem.     RatSnatcher, Very interesting day! at least you tried our best to save the bees, if you had this same job tomorrow would you tackle it any differntley? fortunaty I've never been asked to remove bees but I keep a couple of bee keepers numbers in my phone just in case!     I also use Cimetrol and this seems to work well but if the place is jumping and the electic is on I go over the place with a hoover to get the fleas moving, I then go over it with Ficam W with added Nylar which is a IGR. if the infestation is heavy I doubt it wil be cured in one visit. Andy

    Matt, What product would you recomend putting through it for a cluster fly treatment in a residential loft space, I thought maybe one of the RTU's sprays like Insectaban or Pelgar super strength fly spray would do the trick or would a standard residual spray be suffice?     I’m considering buying a ULV machine for cluster flies. What machine do you use and how do you rate it? I have thought about the one Killgerm have but at over £500 plus extra for the bag I can’t warrant spending that kind of cash on something I know little about. Andy

    I totally agree, it was at best amateurish, unprofessional and again gives a bad image. Did anyone see them actually doing any pest control work? All I saw them do was root a couple of dead rats out, squash a few bed bugs and stand about with a couple of traps........guess I must be doing it wrong.

    The wasp job seems to have come to an abrupt end; I think this is only due to the weather wet, cold and miserable and should resume once the weather takes up again. Up until the end of the first week in July it was really busy now nothing . Is it the same where you are?... I’m in Cheshire.

    Aaron, If you intend to use your cage traps in public places make sure they are well hidden there is always someone out there that is more than willing to either nick them or destroy them. I think you have made the correct desicion by returning the MK6's if you are struggling with them that's when accidents happen! Good luck with the cages fella Andy

    i would like to do no ladder work thats why i brought all my extentions for the dr5 and a dustick but i get alot of nests where i just cant seem to get the angle from the ground ie velux windows and if theres only a narrow path and fence by the side of the house, i have to put ladders up to the eves and treat from there using the extendible lance that you suggested i get(good call there matt ) and you were right about the dr5 to i think its far better than the dustick quicker and easier when up ladders or on the ground, i got a small tyre compressor to pump it up from 12v socket(piece of pe
