  8. cheers guys, when I spoke to the guys in the gun shops today that I rang around they said the bsa has had its problems but they have all been sorted but they did not go into what the problems were one of them said that the magasines were just a revised super ten mag but didnt seem to knacker up like the super ten mags did but he said time will tell.
  9. cheers pal. I have been on the phone today and got prices on both guns the prices for the r10 were from £550 - £795 the hw100 were all about the £750 mark I know there both very acurate and consistant but I want to know what people would rather go for if there are any pros and cons for either gun.
  10. Alright lads I fancy a new gun and have narrowed it down to two it is gonna have to be a hw100 or a bsa r10 but I dont know wich one to go for. I must admit I am leaning towards the r10 just on looks alone but I want consistant acurate shots from a gun, wich do you lads think is the better of the two I will be getting the gun in 22 as I already have my aa s410 in 177 and fancy a change and my raider is not shot consistant.cheers guys.
  11. I have only seen one on net but I dont like them they look very numb and I think it is a lot of pissing about with that lever for one shot, if you miss a shot what ever your shooting at isnt going to sit there while ya get it ready for a second atempt imho.

I realy am considering one of them r10's I had a look at one for the first time in a local gun shop the outher day think one might make its way to my house.

  18. Hi, There are a few good books on ferrets that cover all aspects of keeping and working ferrets there is one by ian c rickard ferrets and ferreting thats quite good he goes through housing, breeding, ailments and covers just about everything. but before breeding I would seriously look at your options if you dont need to breed then I wouldnt but if you are hell bent on breeding make sure you have homes for the kits and dont plan on making big money out of breeding because you will be disapointed. whilst pregnant the jill will eat more and if you get half a dozen kits then thats half a dozen mor
  19. Some shop bought red filters cut the range of the lamp down quiet a lot any ways I miss placed my red filter one night so I made one I used a tizer pop bottle already red and there a thiner plastic and I found that it didnt cut the lamp range down as much.when lamping a rabbit do as andyz has said but try not to put the lamp directly on the rabbit hold the beam in front of it so the glare shows it up looking out for the eyes and if there still running and not stopping long enough to get a shot off they must be very lamp shy and know the game all to well, try sniping them at early morning as we
  20. Not on at all when some one does you a favour you dont fook them
  21. I asked my vet about a vecectemy and he said £180 and £30 to see if the operation was succesfull but have heard of people that it is usaly only about £40 so needless to say im going to anouther vet but I have been told that it is very common for the tubes to re join and the op is unsuccesfull so dont know wich route to take. my vet charges £14 pound a jill jab and they can come straight back into season wich then means anouther jab bloody rip off then they wounder why people keep breeding them for no reason and rescues are busting with ferts.

My grandad has a plummer dog of glen it is spot on I recomended him to get one after seeing a few at shows and I have wanted one ever since so hopefully wont have long till I get my pup she will be primerily for rat and rabbit and as a ferreting companion.
