    As Rolfe says check if they've been cut. Did it look like a knife job, or had they been chewed. If they're chewed then it's possibly just bad luck having two chewed through. Though I must say to lose two out of two is extremely odd. if they are chewed you might want to try the glen waters fishing swivel and bent wire pin approach as apposed to the string and peg but as ianrob says thats very uncommon

    Cats and foxes catch them and play with them without eating them sometimes - same goes for shrews. They must taste funny or something? OTC apparently they taste bitter so foxes etc dont eat them, i know my cat never did

    i got the cluson shootalite and its top notch the scope mount was broken by my idiot brother but you can get spares once you get some money lol all in £100 ish

    i am currently looking at getting a gun for rabbit pigeon and other vermin control on a 500 acre farm, i have already had discusion about getting a rimfire .22 and although this seemed very good i was also wondering about the pros and cons of a shotgun: - i don't know which callibre would be best or what gun - how much would a first gun be and any recomoendations (im 16 funding is sometimes an issue) - how much is ammunition and how would i get it ? - any other useful info thanks rob

    really the gun is the same as the scope and where to buy? thats usually a good rule, the gun will only be as accurate as the scope you put on it. as for where most good gun shops will stock a wide range of rimfires, i think a good cz will be sweet, good quality for a good price. would it be semi atou or bolt action i have used both before? how much are silencers and how long does it take to aply for one as they need to be done seperately to the gun?anyone know any good gun shops in the somerset area?
