    This Site

This site is just like life, theres good bits and bad bits. Theres bits that make you laugh and theres bits that put a lump in your throat.(yes even us 'rock hard' hunters can get emotional ) Theres bits we all agree with, and other bits that boil our p!ss. It would be a crap site if we all agreed on everything Now get out there and get some hunting done
  2. first of all i hope this thread dont get ruind just because i have put what works for me .i would just keep on doing what you are ,take it out and as long as it is geting through things to be with you it will eventualy learn to jump because it will start to climb over ,then the next step will be jumping , the more you do the quicker it will take ,just keep it at it untill you are happy .[the fuse has been light]i just hope it dont go bang . Id agree with that like, never made too much of a fuss over my dogs jumping. They both do it very well now,but ive never tried to teach them how
  3. That chopper must of been busy, buzzed me once as well
  4. Either the snare broke because it was old or weak,or if there was a rabbit in your snare either a fox or a dog has nicked it and broken the snare in the process. Shop bought snares tend to be ok,but some are a bit naff, where did you get yours? Woodga on here makes some excellent snares for rabbits and foxes, best ive seen to be honest. Dunno if hes still doing them, but the ones ive had off him have never let me down, not that ive done much rabbit snaring myself. Are there any muddy patches round your garden?,check for fox or dog prints. If its a fox nicking them get yourself some decent snares

    ghosts

IM 45 and ive never seen a ghost, ever, or anything that might or could of been a ghost or a spirit . Until. . . . . . . lol . . . . . . 5 weeks ago. I was across a place called 'isle of whithorn', ive never been back there since my dad took me over there fishing, must be about 30 years ago? So i went over by myself to try the fishing again. Woke up in the morning, got out of the tent and there was a double rainbow over the cliffs. Dives into the tent and gets the camera to take a few snaps, As im looking through the lens this old fella walks into the picture wearing what looks like a
  11. I am back up this way mate, havent done much with the young dog to be honest, poor buggers been neglected as far as hunting goes, hes had a bit but nowhere as near as much as he needs. Lost my permission when i had to get rid of the stinkas so game has been a bit scarce. We'll have a dodge out sometime though mate,it will be good to see you again

Well we set off with a skip in our steps and a light heart, dugs on a double slip on my left hand, lamp in my right,35 litre sack on my back containing 2 10ah batteries. The sky was a bit too clear and the moon was a bit bright, but hey, i had hope in my heart Got to the first field, flicks the lamp on and bingo!!! 3 foxes having what loooked like a bit craic on All 3 of them

  17. Ive not used the new locators at all, mainly cos ive been off the scene for a few years and i had to get rid of my stinkers. But ive used the old locator for a few years with no problems. All i hear about the new locators is not very encouraging? I wont be buying a new locator until i get more ferrets, but even then i think i will stick with the old locators and collars until they are no good. Is there only one supplier of the new locators? Does anyone still make the old ones?
  18. No gold diggers , so you have money then erm. . . . . . . . . . lets say i have no money worries lol Im not rich but i dont put much emphasis on money anyway. I used to be well off, well in a 'i owned property' kind of way, but money means nowt to me,it dont make you happy.
  19. Ive shot the hw 95 and it was a very nice rifle, ive owned the hw90 and again it was a very nice rifle. Think i shot a hw a few years back, but it might have been the hw77? not sure. Anyway,of all i would choose the hw95 simply for the fact it weighs less. Theyre all as good as each other in my opinion, though im no expert on airguns. Humping a heavy rifle round the fields dosent appeal to me,especially towards the end of the day.
  20. crikey moses, and hellfire flames, youve pulled lass, gan get your coat and your wellies were going for a mooch, lol
