Work constant nightshift in a metal fab plant,powder painting stuff. 12 hour shifts,sometimes 7 nights a week but down to 3 nights at the moment If i took any interest in the job i would hate it,thats why i do lots of f@ckin around while im there and dream of the weekend. Used to be self employed doing removals,jacked the business in when the ex missus went to the CSA,lol,silly mare.

Easiest way to get permission is to ask if you can ferret the land. A lot of land owners/ farmers dont mind you ferretting but arent so keen on you wandering round with a gun or dog. Theyve got to be able to trust you 100% before a lot of them will let you go shooting or dogging. And thats fair enough if you look at it from their point of view. They dont know if your the best shot in the land or some wanna be john Rambo,or if your dog is properly stock broken. My first lurcher was a beddy x,she is hard as owt when it comes to knocks,she has had a lot of injuries in her time,dog bites,ripped skin off fences,ran into fences,fence posts. She has took all this in her stride and still wants to get out there and do her stuff. That would be my choice as a first dog,and in fact i would have another if i wanted another lurcher.

Dont bother me what my dogs can do or cant do,theyve both done most kinds of stuff pre-ban. When im out im out to have a good day,if we catch thats good,if we dont im not bothered Been on my own with these 2 dogs for 3 years now,their like mates to me,like i said in the other thread i'd only get rid of them if they had some terminal illness that was making them suffer,or if they turned vicious with other dogs or people. My bitch is nearly 6 years old now and has slowed down a bit,she still loves going out and i still enjoy watching her work. My dog hasnt been worked to his full potentia

Got a few mates who are in iraq/afghan,yeah they can be gobby and cocksure,cant say i blame them after what some of them have seen and gone through. I guess theres some pyschological reasons behind their behaviour? I dunno? Sh@t happens,its a f@ckd up world we live in.
